Yes, well the boundaries of Vermont, NH and Maine are quite close to the north; VT and NH sort of narrow in their shape. (If you're not careful, you could even end up in Canada...)

For me, faith in the fullness of Scripture is what I aim at.

We went to Vermont also; didn't make it to Maine, though. Although Vermont's Green Mountains are high, I think New Hamphire's White Mountains are slightly higher.

PS: You quote from Ephesians 6 in your header; I understand you wouldn't do it but a lot of Christians do get tattoos with quotes from Ephesians 6.

Seems that I look that this matter rather differently from various posters. For me Scripture is final revelation.

We also went down the scenic Connecticut valley in New Hampshire. I kind of thought about all the politicians trudging in the snows of NH once every 4 years during primary season... :)

Maybe things are changing there also, like they have greatly changed in North America; at one time it was sailors and bikers who got tattoos in North America, but now young women but also huge numbers of more mature women do it confidently. Maybe the situation in Japan in more of a state of flux...

Yes, thanks; it's really a matter of transposing the skills developed in Japan. I think that some Japanese artists do have a certain amount of non-gangster trade among US service personnel, e.g., Okinawa. But business prospects would likely be greater in North America if they can make the move.

Maybe this is why the artist that you mentioned is US-based. In the blog I referred to, the young lady said she was tattooed and so had to check first of all whether a place she visited in Japan for a service would make an issue of it. I think that business owners in Japan would likely get to...
