Jesus is God, no telling what he did and did not know during his incarnation, when he *emptied* himself (Philippians 2:7) In any case, I was referring specifically to the *people* at that time. There are people today who do not believe the earth is spherical.

The Roman empire ruled the Middle East in times past. They killed the Messiah, which was part of God's plan (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus paid the penalty for believers (John 3:16).

IMO: o. The millennium is not the eternal state, rather believers who die during the millennium go to heaven until the end of the millennium. After that come new heavens and earth (Revelation 21:1), do over, try to get it right this time.
