Only one rapture of all the saints, and only one second coming of Christ

To say nothing of Jesus' warnings to "take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness", or “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven."

What you have said to me, you have said to Him.

Only one rapture of all the saints, and only one second coming of Christ

No, that is not true (not physically). That's an oxymoron. That doesn't even qualify to be called "resurrection." It just shows you don't actually know the meaning of the word, or that of the first resurrection or the last.

Only one rapture of all the saints, and only one second coming of Christ

That "now-and-not-yet" explanation is a completely inaccurate misunderstanding of how time actually works. That is not the mind of Christ, but the thinking of men. Which is not debatable, except among men.

What we are now suppose to be doing--Jesus repeated over and over...

Throughout Jesus' ministry He repeatedly said, "If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!” Then before going to the Father, He said He would "send the Helper, the Holy spirit." And then in the book of Revelation He repeats "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the...

Only one rapture of all the saints, and only one second coming of Christ

That is a 2,000 year old reality, after which knowledge was to increase. After all this time, all but the babes of this generation, were to have come to the understanding that although our eyes of flesh still only see in part (dimly), our new spiritual eyes--being spirit--were to take up...

Only one rapture of all the saints, and only one second coming of Christ

This is one of the greatest errors in all of Christendom. No. The end that all things are coming to--every purpose of God--is that He "is spirit" (not flesh, not physical), as are His children also to be, as One. And it is only the lowly nature of the flesh and the thinking and teaching of men...

Only one rapture of all the saints, and only one second coming of Christ

"The heart of the matter" is simply a figure of speech meaning the actual subject--which in this thread is: The second coming of Christ, and the reference to Nicodemus was because that is where Jesus broke down how His second coming and salvation works. But yes and no, your understanding is...

    The PROCESS of SALVATION.

If you mean water baptism, no, but the Holy Spirit baptism of Jesus...which occurs "within" when one hears Him knocking (or tugging tsml) and opens to Him..."even so, come Lord Jesus!"

    The PROCESS of SALVATION.

And also spiritual death: that breath of would-be life that ends in death, the wages of sin. The exception is the first resurrection, which comes to those born [again] of the spirit of God before natural death. Which is for works--not for salvation, that is finished--but for the equipping of...

    The PROCESS of SALVATION.

It It's because you are playing games. You (even here again) suggest 1) that there is a problem, 2) that whatever your gripe is, is supported in different places in scripture, 3) then you get asked what your point is, and 4) then you act like you have been accused and demand to know where and...

Will God's will be done no matter what we do?

It is a hard concept for us from our perspective of living out our lives, but this is not real-time with God as it seems to be with us, it's more of an instant replay. When the scriptures refer to things like the Lamb slain "before the foundation of the world" (before the world was), and...

    The PROCESS of SALVATION.

No, not at all. But since you asked, all are not Saved, for God divides the light from the darkness (evil), and the sheep from the goats, and the elements thereof are dissolved.

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

Indeed, everything [actually] from God is verifiable in the scriptures. However, all who are sent verify His word given to them by the scriptures. To the contrary, we either "hear what the Spirit says", or not. Now, having said that--I know that it is helpful to have chapter and verse...and I...

    The PROCESS of SALVATION.

Thanks for all that...but it would all be quite incomplete without quoting John 6:44: "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him."

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

The standard is not yours for me to follow, but God's. I respond with what is from God, sometimes with quotation marks, sometimes not.

Sinless Perfection. Why do so many teach against what Jesus taught?

Because God also uses it--not for the soul--but for both the flesh and that which is not born of the flesh, but born of the spirit of God. The soul rather, is the essence given to us by God that we might be saved by passing from the flesh to the spirit of God.

Only one rapture of all the saints, and only one second coming of Christ

The thread topic is the second coming, so the Nicodemus account was a reference to the heart of the matter, and the difference between the flesh which is born of flesh, and the spirit of God which is born of the spirit of God. The one is flesh, the other spirit. The first is natural, the last is...
