Did Jesus return around 70 AD?

The apostle Paul in writing to the Thessalonians makes it clear that all people are involved when the Lord comes to raise and glorify his own whether dead or alive at the time. 2Thess 1 9 These people will pay the penalty and endure the punishment of everlasting destruction, banished from the...

Did Jesus return around 70 AD?

The glorification resurrection event occurs to the living and dead saints simultaneously when the Lord returns. Not the same event as matt 27 as the disciples at the time were not glorified in body.

Did Jesus return around 70 AD?

But Jesus had not yet ascended to the Father. The resurrection and glorification of the body occur future whether dead or alive at the time. Titus 2 11 For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12 It teaches us to reject ungodliness and worldly...

Did Jesus return around 70 AD?

Not likely at all. Jesus had not ascended at that point. We know that when he appears again after ascending, we will have a body like his glorious body and that hasn't happened to anyone yet. Mortality will finally put on immortality.

Where? What post? Why are you asking me this? The answer is right there in my last post to you.

Referring to scripture is the only way to answer. I see that you didn't answer the same question. Giddy up Lol Oh, now you are saying last days. Well that is a period of time. Heb 1 1 God, having spoken to the fathers long ago in [the voices and writings of] the prophets in many separate...

:nnna Who survived Noah's flood? Gen 6 7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy (annihilate) mankind whom I have created from the surface of the earth—not only man, but the animals and the crawling things and the birds of the air—because it [deeply] grieves Me [to see mankind’s sin] and I regret...

I thought my answer was quite thorough. Scripture clearly spells it out.:contemplate: Who cares what I or anybody else thinks? I won't hold my breath but how would you explain the last day?

    Connecting the dots = a pre-tribulation rapture.

Lol. Scripture above just defined the last day. Jesus comes a second time and raises his own when the heavens are no more. On that same day we have the eternal judgment of the wicked. You seem to be having trouble Connecting those scriptural dots

    Connecting the dots = a pre-tribulation rapture.

Again? Our resurrection and change takes place on the last day, not before John 6:40 For this is My Father’s will and purpose, that ”everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him [as Savior] will have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day John 11:24day. Martha...

Yes, he got on the ark after the tribulations that warranted Gods complete intervention in wrath. Noah was the only one left along with his own family. They escaped the wrath to come just as we will.......ON THE LAST DAY. Gen 7 10 And after the seven days [God released the rain and] the...

Yes. For those who fled sodom without looking back, only those were saved Not globally, as the story of Lot is about the total destruction of sodom. Illustrates the same outcome as Noah's day though.

    Connecting the dots = a pre-tribulation rapture.

That is what happened though. That is why Noah had to build the ark to be saved.....on the last day obviously. So shall it be when the Son of man comes, having facilitated a watertight salvation for the repentant.

The Lord has informed us that he will raise his own on the last day. New heaven and new earth. 2Pet 3 13 But in accordance with His promise we expectantly await new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. 7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for...

jeffweeder said: When Jesus first promised to come back again in the Gospels, where does he refer/ allude to returning on a white horse??? Lol. You seem to have more faith in your own interpretations of Revelation than you do to the Lords own straightforward word on the matter. You are...
