Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

My existential belief is in the person of Jesus Christ. Even if I were never born he is.

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

God implied his absolute being apart from creation by the name 'I AM .' Hence Jesus said before Abraham was, I am. To show he was there first, before their religion.

Why does Jesus tell the Pharisees this?

Yes. It appears Jesus is against the commandments of men when these conflict with God's commandments. Additionally some of the commandments of God to the Israelites were deemed too much a burden to the Gentile believers. Such as circumcision.

How many of these things do you actually care about?

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

How is this any different than idolatry? A graven image of God is created in your mind and you shape it into whatever form you desire. God is not created, he is the creator.

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

God who is Spirit, you think is racist? Joseph wore a cloak of many colors to symbolise all tribes and nations. And he was foreshadowing Christ.

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

Do not take this as an insult, that is not my intent. I believe your story as you saw it. Your dad had in him a demon going by the name of Gabriel. It could be the same one that appeared to Muhammad. Laying on of hands is a dangerous practice, it can transfer the Holy Spirit, but it can also...

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

It wasn't death that defeated death, but the resurrection. Through the same resurrection we are freed from the shackles of this world.

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

Would you mind sharing the circumstances of that vision and what you felt during it? If it was from God or someone else let some good come from it. The scriptures are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, would it be any surprise you need the Holy Spirit to understand them? Truth be...

Believing in yourself means having the courage to stand on your own two feet

Yea, that is an example of religious rules made by men. As for giving tangible help, the bible agrees with you. James 2:16. The body of Christ we are instruments of his will, to do good works on the earth. As the bride of the son we make prayers and supplication for that which belongs to the...

Believing in yourself means having the courage to stand on your own two feet

I can testify that prayers work. If we pray according to God's will, and know he hears us we can expect an answer. The answer isn't always what I want to hear, but God makes it known to me nevertheless. Especially with both prayer and fasting. And if I don't like the answer that is my...

Praying as well @lilygrace , but you should go to the ER if you don't know what is wrong. Get someone to take you instead of driving yourself.

    2020 election prophesies

Beware of ground easily gained. I reckon a real prophecy should be like a beachhead for an invasion. The beast is going to have worshipers, so it is possible that a paradigm shift will be needed from the current course the secular world is on.

    2020 election prophesies

This is a good question. The number of prophecies right before the election was staggering. If they were all legit but referring to a later time, why that timing? Possibilities I see: 1. There was only the old prophecy from kim clement which several preachers wanted to capitalise upon. But...

    2020 election prophesies

If trump wasn't elected why did they try so hard to get him impeached? We had mostly fair elections until a few years ago, with some exceptions. But the democrats pulled out all the stops in 2020.

    2020 election prophesies

There were lots of references to prophecies people pulled from all over the internet, but we didn't actually have any of the prophets here in person. I don't even think Bobby here speaks for the Lord. But as confidently as he speaks he may as well be.

    2020 election prophesies

There are powers and principalities over this world, but there are powers in heaven that are above them. And since no one knows the day or hour, that means the dark powers and principalities, and those under them don't know either. So for them to push for the new world order under Satan, the...

    Roe V. Wade

They may say these are replicas of the Arch of Triumph of Palmyra, but these Arches also resemble the Arch of Baal (that false god to whom people would offer child sacrifices) and have been erected in several cities. 27e8dec9a96696ef7d982512a17098b5dc62159595f9b98f49b264656902455d_1 by lforrest...

    2020 election prophesies

I don't know about all that, last year you thought the same thing. But the Hot July really could be this year. I've resurrected this topic because I am again hopeful.
