Is Faith God-Given - or a Choice in reliance with - trusting God?

Faith was given, spoken to his soul at the hearing of the words about Jesus Christ. And the greatest sinners receive the most faith. Now if someone is living a life of sin might they resist the call? How many have violently opposed the word because they were running from God for their own...

    Winter/Summer solstice

Wonder how the flat earthers explain different times for sunrise/sunset based on geo location.

I'm Hungry Right Now, What are you munching On?

I recall the best spaghetti I've ever had 22 years ago at Cairns Australia. That spaghetti alone was almost worth the 18 hour flight. No pasta sauce I've had in the states is comparable.

Analysis of Mass Murder of Children

It appears to have been planned and premeditated. That the Grandmother tried to stop him but he killed her. Nihilism most likely played a part. Video games, violent or otherwise only contribute as a numbing agent, and destraction. No real fulfillment comes from playing games or watching TV...

    Prophetic Timeline?

God's prophetic clock is Off? Seems like a stupid excuse. We know God acts with timing that gets him the glory. If a prophecy were delayed being fulfilled, it would be for mercy sake. We know prayers tend to get answered either immediately, or even before we asked, or at the last minute...

    Jesus versus all gods

Jesus left behind a historical record of his first coming. Other gods have only myths and epics.

    The Vilifying Of Church Leadership

It is written that the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you. People are aware of the hipocracy before them. And of course the enemies of God will mock these moral inconsistencies.

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

Consciousness as we know it requires self awareness, not just a centralized awareness. I believe it is futile to speak of heavenly places when we can't even come to an agreement about God's existance.

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

There are some higher thoughts, ideas, and beliefs that stem from knowledge of our vulnerabilities, which came from self awareness. If we ignore those specific examples awareness is a biological function.

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

That is literally the same thing the serpent was saying in the garden, and he was a liar. Self awareness is the forbidden fruit. We would exist without self awareness, even as animals exist. We did not become like God.

    2020 election prophesies

What would be the purpose for the prophecies to be given in 2019, when they appeared to have been false? If their fulfillment is supposed to be in 2024 then their timing was misleading.

The Deity of Jesus under attack on this forum.

The forum is being managed the way we want it managed in order to have open discussions with Christians from many different backgrounds. See the statement on the Trinity in the announcement forum, for clerification of what is allowed. Dont expect to be banned unless you break the rules, or...

The Deity of Jesus under attack on this forum.

So defend it, we don't silence anything related to this but strong condemnation of the trinity doctrine. And you might want to reconsider your stance against monotheism. The Trinity is a monotheistic doctrine, despite what its detractors say...

    Melchizedek's order

Allegories aside, I believe that Abraham really met with Malkizadech. As Abraham gave him 10% of everything he owned. And refused to take anything from Malkizadech. It's not likely for Abraham to refuse God's provisions or for 10% of everything he owned to be spirited away. I initially...

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

God regretted making mankind on the earth. Not that it would have changed his mind. Like when I regret to inform you of your error about abortion. The circumstance of someone's emotional state does not take into account the trust God expects us to place in him to provide what we need.

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

And if you try running around an airfield with your eyes closed and fingers in your ears your lack of awareness of the airplane propellers and jet engines will be no consolation.

    Melchizedek's order

The order of Melchizedek is a royal priesthood. Melchizedek was king of Salem. Jesus Christ is king of kings. There is an untold story behind the fall of Salem. For some reason it didn't survive the proliferation of idolatry. Did Malkizadech have to watch as his kingdom crumbled around him...

    The Transforming Word of God

I don't think he was satisfied with the lack of distinction made between the scriptures and the one of whom they speak.

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

You must in order to eliminate observational bias, otherwise what you know is worthless. A computer contains knowledge yet it is not aware. It takes some degree of wisdom to apply knowledge. The natural man has a kind of wisdom, which is of this world. And there is a spirit of wisdom which...

Christianity boils down to believing in the end, there's no other way around it

There appears to be an inherent observational bias in that conclusion. Externalizing existentialism seems to be the logical resolution.
