Jehovah Witness theology. Did you get that out of your "Reasoning Through the Scriptures" book? I can go round and round debating this topic with no resolve. Believe what you will, all 8 million of you. Read your Watchtower publications and keep that isolated, secure wall around your camp...

Ephesians 6:10-11 "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." So the armor is: the Shield (faith), the Helmet (salvation) and the Sword (word). 2 Thessalonians 3:3 "But the Lord is...

Did you get it right away, the first day someone told you about Jesus? It is the Good News. It means that we don't have to die in our sins. It means that there is a solution to our hopeless situation. It took my Father a lifetime to see the Light. Hundreds of experiences, lessons, ups and...

God orchestrates events and people that come into our lives, spreading the Gospel outwardly. But there is an inward calling. He communicates with us, gradually convincing us until we say yes. It doesn't happen over night. Paul visited areas for weeks and months preaching, showing them through...

Seems like a nice guy to me. He writes books about love and grace. He teaches/speaks at Nazerene and Pepperdine Christian Universities. George Washington, Ben Franklin and Mozart were Freemasons along with many others whose lives were blessed by God and did good to mankind. Prince Edward, a...

"let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health. He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became...

The following article is both scary and revealing. I have posted recently threads about the Rider on the White Horse who went out to conquer with a crown (coronavirus) and the Rider on the Red Horse who takes peace from the earth with war, as having left the barn (or so to speak) already and...

I am not saying what God did or didn't do! I am saying God is working in every single case. He allows some to live or die for His purpose and some don't like the sound of that. They like to paint a picture of God that just loves and heals. But He does allow sufferring, He does judge severly and...

God guides us all with His thoughts and they get mixed or blended with our own thoughts which we can't always differentiate. I've been an anti vaxxer for a long time and mainly don't trust modern medicine. I've just had negative feelings, thoughts and have heard all the lies and deceptions that...

The power of miraculous healing trumps a flu shot I'd say.

Could you make your question more clear? "Something bad will happen to you because you are reading commentary from two of the most knowledgeble and trusted theologians out there?

To All, We have a different view about the seals, trumpets, bowls, the prophetic signs, order of events, etc. It's amazing, we are reading the same book. You all believe the horses are still in the barn. I got it, just shared my view and that's that. Next. The Pre-Trib view with all it's...

Your argument is way too general. I started with something specific. You don't agree and stated your view. I can accept your view, I just don't agree with it. I have a Mid-Trib view and you don't accept it amd I don't care if you do. If it isn't interesting, change the channel. You seem to...

You said that Rev. 20:1-7 is historical. So that means no futurw Millennial Kingdom. Do you think most or all of the events in Revelation 6-19 are historical?

So you are an Amillennialist/Preterist or Partial Preterist. Okay.

Gotcha

You quoted scripture that specifically states that 1/4 of the population, is killed by war, pestilence, famine, wild beasts and that would,be,just under 2 billion. It's no over yet. Another 1/3 if the remaining population is killed. So adding those fractions, you get 7/12 of the current...

The Feast of Trumpets is a Jewish celebration. Humans blow the shofar. The last trumpet is blown,by an angel. God's most significant act in all history, the resurrection of all Christians dead and alive, happens when an angel blows the last trumpet. It is not part of some Jewish holiday. Why...

Yes, the Pre-Trib view bumps up against this post. "These things can't possibly be part of the Great Tribulation ... I'm still here!" I actually would prefer the Pre-Trib scenario over mine - take me out before these catastrophic events - thank you very much. I just don't see it that way. Your...

Your question does not make sense to me. Did I repent because I'm dead to the Law? One repents before that happens. Repentence is the act of turning to God while we are still a slave to sin, a slave to Satan, because you realize there is nothing you can do to remove it. But how does this...
