    2 Questions

Was thinking of this verse from the story of Joseph... Genesis 50:20 King James Version 20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

    He will not work

I think it would be wrong to donate to someone like that.

We are judged by works, not by faith

:) Well said @Ghada Psalm 106:3 KJV 3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. Many of us have adopted a defeatist mentality towards sin. We think we cannot possibly stop sinning, so we've made theology that will ease our guilty conscience...

Psalm 51:16-17 16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

    Heal Our Land

As good as sin feels to my flesh, I will turn away and seek your face, Lord. You promised that if we turned away from our wicked ways and seek Your face, you would heal our land. We seek your face now.

    2 Questions

No to both but with the first one, there are times when God can take evil and make good out of it.

Don’t Be Like The Five Foolish Virgins = Matthew 25;1-5

This is a tough passage for me but I like how you relate the oil to bible reading and prayer.

Who Are You at the Party?

At the party, if there are any cheetos or cheese puffs, Im avoiding the people eating them because some things just shouldn't be a thing. With so many likeminded people, Im sure there will be plenty of good one on one conversations or debates amongs two or three. I prefer this over small talk...

    Fully Focused

Having biblical priorities has been a key to happiness in my life. Focusing on God and my husband first, then my home, and then leaving leftover energy for everything else has been a game changer.

    Dumb Things You've Bought

I bought this fancy looking mango orange juice at a gas station the other day. I normally drink water only but it was hot outside. The drink tasted like pancake syrup. And adding water didn't entirely save it. Buyers remorse for sure on that one. What's something you've bought that you later...

Who Are You at the Party?

Lets say we had a bunch of food, a lot of space and Christianity Board was an in-person social event that each member was invited to... Who are you at the party? Are you the one making small talk with all the guests? Are you the one discussing eschatology one on one with someone over fruit...

Please Explain the Trinity Ban, Staff

I wouldn't know where to start to answer. I got my staff title after the ban. And I tended to avoid those topics.

    Public Schools, Again

You expressing that anger with the Much love! signature at the end? Forum gold!! I was raised in public school. I had a good time but I was like a cheerio in the liberal alphabet soup. It's interesting that I turned out as conservative as I am despite that environment. I don't know about...

    Public Schools, Again

I believe you, @marks .It's such an odd mix of feelings when I think of educators now. I respect so much those that are trying to do right by the students. But it's as if they are in a losing battle from the beginning. They are taking on an unfixable burden.

Being career focused costs women more than they realize

People are going to do what they want. I believe the Bible tells women that the home is their primary ministry but lets start with this: Women should know the trade-offs of focusing primarily on careers. - Fertility: The time that you are most able to have healthy children is now taken up by...
