What does loving your neighbor look like in today's world?

We should not be sinning because we are not sinners. IF we sin,,,,this means that it is possible for believers to still sin... then we have an advocate with the Father. Sinners sin all the time with no second thought to offending God.

What does loving your neighbor look like in today's world?

They are opposed to one another. The sinner has no opposition. Christians are not sinners. They are believers that sin. I cannot make it more clear than that. Unbelievers are sinners because their flesh does not even know the spirit. There is no opposition. Believers have the spirit. There...

You like part 2. Do you also like part 1 ?

What does loving your neighbor look like in today's world?

Did I say that? Does obeying Jesus mean we will never sin? Why must we go from one extreme to the other? Are you a believer? Then you are not a sinner. 1 John 3:9 9No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. You are...

What does loving your neighbor look like in today's world?

Listen to what you just stated David: "Yes, believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are saved sinners." How could a sinner be saved? Does a sinner practice being right with God? 1 John 3:10 10By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice...

What does loving your neighbor look like in today's world?

It's always good to hear that a believer in Christ Jesus considers himself to be a sinner. I suppose that's what Christianity has come down to these days. Here's what the NT teaches: Hebrews 5:9 9And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal...

What does loving your neighbor look like in today's world?

Well sondring, Looks like you're not perfect. Is anyone? So what you should do is stop calling believers sinners. That puts believers in the same category as unbelievers. Is there no distinction? I like this verse. 1 John 3:1a 1See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his...

What does loving your neighbor look like in today's world?

There are a lot of homeless persons in the streets. Do you house them all? Do you feed them all? Do you clothe them all? If not, you are committing sin because helping just one is not sufficient. You would have to house all those you come into contact with, feed all those you come into contact...

Jesus’s Adelphoi: Scripture and Early Christian Testimony

What a silly remark. God will do with each human as He had planned to do. ( I'm not reformed). Mary said the Great Yes to God....she OBEYED Him. Obeying God does not make one a god.

Jesus’s Adelphoi: Scripture and Early Christian Testimony

It's not possible that Mary was a bad wife. God chose Mary to be the Mother of His Son on earth...to bear Him. I believe she was immaculate...born without the sin nature. Whether she had other children or not will never be known with 100% certainty. What we do know is that a few of the...

What is the meaning of Grace, according to the Bible?

I've read a few of your posts and basically agree but don't understand what you mean by The Law. Do you mean all the rules and ordinances that were taugth by Moses to the Israelites? Do you mean the law of Christ?

What Is Episkopos Really Teaching? Read His Own Words

Maybe Episkopos is a gnostic believer? Maybe he really does know more than any one of us? Blessed are the humble. Yeah.

What Is Episkopos Really Teaching? Read His Own Words

But I thought you said that we had to tell the truth?? I've always had a difficult time undersanding what you believe. Not that it's necessary for me to understand. You should leave judging to God and just concentrate on repeating what the NT teaches. It sounds like maybe YOU are on fire...

What Is Episkopos Really Teaching? Read His Own Words

We agree on all. And yes, deeds will be judged....but, of course, we must believe first. Without faith,,,good works are dead works. Only faith saves. THEN good works are needed as Jesus taught.

What Is Episkopos Really Teaching? Read His Own Words

No one on these boards accepts correction. It is a practice in futility. But I like post anyway,,,for those reading along. Have I changed YOUR mind about ANYTHING? Have you changed MINE? Actually, mine was changed many years ago, but no need to go there.

What Is Episkopos Really Teaching? Read His Own Words

LOL I HAVE taught our faith. I know James 3:1 very well. Nothing is personal for me. I state that we go by what the NT teaches,,,NOT by our emotional feelings. Those who know God and are obedient are as saved as they ever will be. Whether or not they understand theology is irrelevant. And if...

What Is Episkopos Really Teaching? Read His Own Words

Well, what is the formula E? How difficult do we want to make it? Here's mine. 1. Believe in God. 2. Obey God. Simple.

What Is Episkopos Really Teaching? Read His Own Words

I'll take my LIKE. Two comments: 1. Wm Lane Craig smiled even as he told someone they were headed for hell. It's not because you're not saying truth... it's because a person will listen more to that truth. 2. Christians certainly are at different levels. But our objective is growth. I'd say...

What Is Episkopos Really Teaching? Read His Own Words

Nice post S. Let's remember what Jesus said and begin to be careful with our words: Luke 6:46 46“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? Not referring this verse to you. But I DO believe it's very important to be careful to state that it is absolutely necessary to say...
