Good word @VictoryinJesus Proverbs has much to say about our mouth and the fruit of our mouth. 18:21 " Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." When our children where still at home we made a point of always laying out hands on their...

Wow...pass the tissues, sniff. That was lovely @Willie T We need it more and more until it is second nature to us. I used to have "The Inward Journey"... So many of our books had to be left back in England. My daughter here has a copy, I must borrow it and re-read it again. Great post...

EXCELLENT and agree...much easier to listen to. It has a greater anointing :) ( IMHO )

I loved your little dig at us who love the archaic language of the KJV. :D Good word here by G. M. Of the two I have always preferred reading C.S. Lewis myself ... yet G.M. hit the nail here. Christians are such a mixture...on the one hand we say that we can see the love of God for us ..and...

I do brother...and yet still not convinced. I guess God has not shown me that anything other then Jesus Christ and entering into His rest is our Sabbath. He is the fulfillment of all things. He Himself is The Promise. I don't try and convince anyone else on that...but it is where 'I am'...

I was thinking of AL newcomers...if you check 'New Members' some have joined as members recently but never posted much if anything... I believe that I am a seasoned old bird, but even I come on the forum some days , and feel somewhat like the dove in Gen 8... 9 "But the dove found no rest for...

I must admit when new people come to this forum there is not much here these days to encourage them to stay. I think maybe in our dissecting of God and what the bible is saying, we forget the The Victory, The Glory, and the wonderful Plan of God ... and the Good News that God has given us...

Going into 2020... step by step... God is with us..all the way... "There remaineth yet very much land to be possessed." "Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus." "Be...

AMEN!!

That sounds heavenly! :) Today was quite good here...it was plus 5 C but we didn't get our sunshine..it was too cloudy ...but hey...new years eve...almost 2020. A good ending to the year...and great expectation for the one to come. :)

Amen...maybe if we continue to say it enough times they 'may' just check it out for themselves, instead of just believing what someone spoon-fed them from some pulpit.

Oh interesting ..I'd always been told it is an indefinite number ...no ending.. Can't for the life of me remember why now :)

And that street runs both ways..you are preaching to yourself... God in His own good time will reveal all of His nature...and many will have to hang their head in shame at how they judged Him to be.

Hi there Bro What about Peter? Jesus said to him..."Satan has desired to sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for you that you faith fails not." He had the fear of man...we know that...and he also found that there WAS a place to come back to in repentance. 70 x 7 was God's idea not mans...

:D I liked your- " I do look for some threads that have substance..just not found a lot." AGREE finding something worth posting in is like looking for pearls. I have not enjoyed the threads I have been posting in...mainly because I find I am arguing against legalism and Pharisee -ism. Now I...

Well said.
