CAN YOU BE SAVED AND NOT LOVE JESUS?

Not sure if you are talking about Unitarianism or Annihilation, or something else, like what?

CAN YOU BE SAVED AND NOT LOVE JESUS?

I'm asking another question I've added to the OP How much do we love Him? Could you go through the Great Tribulation and allow your head to be chopped off for Christ?

CAN YOU BE SAVED AND NOT LOVE JESUS?

Okay, I won't ask you if you are saved. So how much do we love Him? Could you go through the Great Tribulation and allow your head to be chopped off for Christ? That's a good question to ask.

CAN YOU BE SAVED AND NOT LOVE JESUS?

We can love him as a friend, but you are right, we can't love him enough to die for him if we are not saved. So how much do we love Him? Could you go through the Great Tribulation and allow your head to be chopped off for Christ? That's a good question to ask.

CAN YOU BE SAVED AND NOT LOVE JESUS?

We need to be judging ourselves. Are you saved? Do you keep his commandments? Do you tell others it is okay to not obey Jesus' words?

CAN YOU BE SAVED AND NOT LOVE JESUS?

He loved us 2000 years ago and died for us. But that doesn't mean we automatically now love Jesus.

CAN YOU BE SAVED AND NOT LOVE JESUS?

Not if our own righteousness is as filthy rags. Isa. 64:6 Then your answer to the title of this OP is yes? Correct? 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; … 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words. I do not agree with the CEV translation the...

CAN YOU BE SAVED AND NOT LOVE JESUS?

John 14:23-24 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; … 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words. Only the righteous and holy will reach heaven as seen in Revelation 22:11. You cannot be righteous in your own willpower so you cannot save yourself...

How was @Nancy using the word? Was it about a demon, or how you are using it?

    I Like This Man

Fine. Are you saying temptations can be cast out.

    I Like This Man

no I didn't. "Deliverance" is from demons.

She doesn't need deliverance from the devil. 1 John 5:18 18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. She needs more of the Spirit of Christ

You don't need "deliverance," just more surrender to the Lord in those areas.

Because you went to her and apologized, that is all God requires for Him to forgive your trespass. And, yes, that was a perfect example of a trespass. The fruits were long-suffering and self-control. Just ask God to prune those so they will be stronger.

Willful sins based on our sin nature are what we were cleansed from initially, including the source of those willful sins, our SIN NATURE OF THE FLESH. Those are sins of lawlessness. Jesus took the desire to commit those type of sins away. 1 John 3:4-5 4 Whoever commits sin also commits...

    Jesus our : Sanctification

What I'm referring to is that the blood of Jesus doesn't just "cover" our sins, He TAKES IT AWAY. We aren't discussing babies. I'll do as you do and leave that to God. LOL
  17. 1stCenturyLady

    Jesus our : Sanctification

So you are not talking about "covering" sin. Good.
  18. 1stCenturyLady

    Jesus our : Sanctification

can you explain the covering? What does it cover in us?
  19. 1stCenturyLady

    Jesus our : Sanctification

Very good. Yes, we are all at different levels according to the Author and Finisher or our faith. Romans 1:17 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” This has to do with the different levels of righteousness that...

Saved by God := Through Faith

Of course, because of the cross of Christ and His blood. Don't assume I deny that. But do you honestly believe a baby Christian has all there is to be revealed given to him at the beginning? If so, you don't understand Romans 1:17, and many other scriptures you don't seem to understand, and...
