    What have you cooked lately?

I want to try making some Cayenne jelly sometime. I just love Cayenne. I have a heart ailment that's stayed with me from my early childhood on that produces V-Tach episodes that just flee at the sight of a little Cayenne. :) RESPECT CAYENNE!!! :jest::jest::jest:

    What have you cooked lately?

So I just got finished eating some sauteed yellow squash, brussels sprouts, and okra topped with some pasta sauce, tahini, and a dollop of butter bean spread. It was pretty good, but I don't know whether that sounds gross or delish.

Don't feel bad. I got banned there for debating with a ravenous Adventist-hater.

OK, so you're slumming, I guess, is what you seem to be saying. Welcome, anyway. :D:waves:

    What have you cooked lately?

I just read a post about cooking in an instapot and it got me to thinking about kitchen tools. There seems to be a movement toward avoiding new tools that won't multitask. I was a machinist by trade and that dog will not hunt in a machine shop. We used to say "There's nothing like the right...

    Moving on from Christs principles?

I forgot—we're all just fleshy robots.

    What have you cooked lately?

I made pasta sauce yesterday and for dinner we had it over spaghetti squash. It turned out better than I have a right to claim it was. I think it might have been a fluke. We have a produce market about a mile or so down the road. They go to Philadelphia every morning at 0'dark-thirty to grab a...

    Why Are You A Christian?

I don't need to wonder—I've done it. Not recently, but I've done it, LORD have mercy.

    Soul Sleep yes or no?

I didn't get notified of your reply, Brother J. I'm doing great, and I'm just as happy to see you as you seem to be to see me! (I'm not sure that's an actual sentence but I think you know what I mean). :D

    Moving on from Christs principles?

So if God decided we would be saved, but we don't want to be saved, all we can hope for is to slow Him down a little? I'm having trouble with the word "hinder," Ron. It seems to me like the irresistible grace doctrine invariably spirals into word salad.

    Soul Sleep yes or no?

    Ooh, I really like that!

One more thing that is really getting to me is how how much younger the sick are getting and/or how much sicker the young are getting. People are walking around sick with no symptoms! Aside from Brakelite's reliable insights, just some of my patented rambling. ;) @_wrangler likes to call...

    Moving on from Christs principles?

God saves us against our will, right? You might as well say it outright, Ron. Not many first-rodeoers here - lol. We know what the exclamation points are about. You're mad :mad::mad: because we're not buyin' the T-U-L-I-P stuff. (I just can't seem to resist. This insomnia is drivin' me...)

Well, if by "I would agree" you thought I meant "I would agree that 'I would certainly not limit that to those who worship on Sunday instead of Saturday,'" then let me set the record straight: I hold to the Protestant and Historicist view of the identification of the beast of Daniel and...

One Creed to live by and die for...

A good way to study the Bible is to pretend your IQ is about 40% lower than it actually is. Cuts down on crow-eating dramatically, and spares you the trouble of having to endure a lot of mental gymnastics, too. And Jesus called a little child unto Him, and set him in the midst of them...
