Is it okay to blame God for stuff that is his fault?

Adam wasn't deceived. He went into the taste test with eyes wide open. Problem though, his eyes were wide open toward Eve, and didn't trust God to fix things should he disobey.

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Yes, but not as early as some would suppose. The change took several centuries, and even then it took coercion by the church and state, starting from the 5th century. But there were many who stayed firm in obedience to scripture.

And He was dead. Until the resurrection. Death does not mean alive elsewhere.

“31 But @saved by grace 101 , which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. 32 Wherefore? Because he sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For he stumbled at that stumblingstone; 33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion...

I think it's time you stopped acting as the accuser. Go away.

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Last time I checked, God was in heaven. Why are you so determined that we answer to you for our behaviour?

Is it okay to blame God for stuff that is his fault?

Jesus was in the grave for 3 days. The proper interpretation is that the Lord did indeed preach to those sinners before the flood who are now dead, but He did so when they were alive and had the ability to hear with their ears and repent. And the Lord accomplished that through His prophet...

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Can i explain the context as to why I chose the name Brakelite? Short version, when you see a brake-light light up in front of you on the highway, it isn't telling you what to do. It's merely waking you up to make a choice. You have options. Stop. Advance cautiously. Overtake and take your...

Is it okay to blame God for stuff that is his fault?

How about those who falsely accuse God by default by attributing to Him doctrines that reflect the character of satan?

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Interesting. You don't obey the 4th commandment because you believe it to be voided by the Holy Spirit and spiritualized 24/7. Yet I do obey the commandment as best I can with the Lord's help, (as in every commandment) and you justify your authority to countermand God's specific commandment by...

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

Answered in response to... Which raises a very important question. What shuts people out of heaven? Is it the observance of the Sabbath, or Sunday, or neither? No, none of the above. Then what is it that shuts people out of heaven? Disobeying God. Does that apply to Christians? Yes...

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

How can you state such with a straight face? You blithely adopt that truth and apply it to yourself, but deny any such possibility that others have done so. What you say above is truth. But then you manipulate the whole context by claiming that same Christ who you claim is leading you is not...

Is it okay to blame God for stuff that is his fault?

Isn't God able to judge the sincerity or lack thereof of those who raise their figurative fist to heaven and bemoan their personal circumstances or see things taking place in the world that seem unjust, unfair, and downright despicable with innocent people suffering and the wicked gaining...

    AI

Here is its answer to my first question... The article “Being Human” argues that rapid advances in AI are reshaping what it means to be human and that religious communities have both a unique vulnerability and a unique responsibility in this moment. It frames AI not just as a technical or...

    AI

I read an interesting article in the December issue of Liberty Magazine, entitled, Being Human. The article asks some challenging questions as to how AI may affect humanity, and how individuals and society in general, will cope. It focuses particularly on the aspect of religious liberty. I...

Is it okay to blame God for stuff that is his fault?

Yes, absolutely. Adam was given dominion over the earth. People who rule over dominions are called kings. Or princes. When Adam obeyed the serpent and in the same act disobeyed God, he surrendered sovereignty. The devil became the prince of this world. When the devil offered sovereignty to...

Is it okay to blame God for stuff that is his fault?

We all have the right to ask questions. God Himself invites us to... come, let us reason together. There is nothing wrong about wanting to understand better Who God is, and what He is like. Jesus condemned nobody for having doubts.

Is the "free gift" of salvation really free? - Honestly?

There are billions in the world today who have never heard of Jesus, and a population increasing at a rate we will never keep up with... without help from God. Whatever happens, however God chooses to handle things, we can trust Him to do what's fair. No-one will suffer unjustly. They may...

Do the Ten Commandments still apply under the new covenant today?

What i testified to was your personal position of having no excuse for disobedience to God's commandments, seeing they are written in scripture and you carry them around with you everywhere you go. If obedience to all the commandments was the standard by which we judge another's profession of...
