If the letter kills and condemns at all, it kills and condemns those who refuse to obey that letter. Obedience does not bring death.

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: ” Philippians 1:6 KJV https://www.unfeignedbible.app/Philippians.1.6 If we are abiding in Christ and trusting Him implicitly, the above promise is ours. We may fail...

And that is a blatant straw man which you cannot demonstrate. Indeed he was. But while he ostensibly is upholding the law of Moses, you, who claim to follow Paul's writings, claim the sabbath as obsolete because it is a part of the law of Moses. You are all over the place and your arguments...

You have. You've reduced the ten commandments to 9. Do you read your own posts?

The only watered down version of the ten commandments is the 9 commandment version you have embraced.

Was Paul correct in following this advice? “Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them. ” Acts 21:26 KJV...

For me, the cleansing fire as mentioned by such as the apostle Peter, is not literal fire. I believe a literal fire such as its believed by Catholics regarding purgatory and ultimately hell for the really bad guys, is an extremely poor conception of the character of God, and a poor...

Speaking of a merger...

Fair enough. So what of those who have no foundation? Or a wrong foundation such as Antichrist? With universalism I guess that doesn't matter either?

Mmm. I guess you will be utterly content with nothing to show.

Glad you brought this up. Who are we talking about again...oh yes. Gentile Christians. That was what the council was for. To settle a dispute within the church. Acts 15:13-20. So they gave instruction at that time only 4 specific guidelines. They restricted it to 4 because they didn't want...

And yet he also said there is no condemnation for them that are in Christ Jesus. It would seem strange indeed if Paul was excluding obedient Christians from the "no condemnation" group, while you seem to want to. Particularly when everywhere else in the scriptures it is the obedient who are...

First, you forget whose commandments they are. They aren't mine. I'm not trying to entice you into obeying me. Obey God. If you think you need not do that, then have the courage to say so, with your reasons. I think it fascinating you believe we don't appreciate what you term, the...

Yes, but not everyone builds on the right foundation... “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. ” 1 Corinthians 3:11 KJV https://www.unfeignedbible.app/1.Corinthians.3.11

Does the leopard change his spots? Does that do good which is accustomed to do evil? We cannot change ourselves. We cannot lower ourselves into the water of baptism any more than Christ could Crucify Himself. Nor can we die to self without Christ. Any changes that are made at all run...

So my perceived failings are your excuse?

Which do you believe is more reliable? Your heart or God's word?

Correct. We observe a global universal Sabbath created for all mankind on the 7th day of the week. There was never any such thing as a Jewish Sabbath.

And here you go again with your passive aggressive war against the commandments. And too afraid to admit that obedience to all Ten Commandments must of necessity become apparent in anyone's life who submits themselves to Christ, because we are called to walk as He walked, and He kept all His...
