A Sane Rant: So what gives with this so-called invisible Virus war?

The mere possibility that this virus would be engineered and released intentionally to target the elderly has raised my ire. I can think of nothing more despicable than someone who looks at the effects of a disease and says... this gives me an idea.

    Corporate Dreams: 4/18/2020 to 5/18/2020

For the purpose of the experiment we can try to keep the topic narrow. The discussion should remain focused in these areas: 1. Posting specific dreams 2. Interpretations of dreams 3. Analysis of specific dreams or interpretations. 4. Analysis of patterns between dreams. Arguments concerning...

The doctrine of the trinity, it's origins

This thread is locked as the Trinity has been discussed to death, and the topic has again returned to accusations. If you believe you must oppose a false doctrine or defend a true one, do so with scripture, debate, or even experience. Never resort to spiritual abuse, as you will lose...

I must agree with seasoned by grace. There can be no substitute for the teaching of the Holy Spirit. All should be encouraged to enter his tutelage. Bring no suppositions with you but that his word is Truth. Come hungry for his word, with prayer and fasting. All past teachings are fair...

    Can Covid-19 spark a revival?

On a personal level revival is definitely possible, as it always has been. In the traditional sense, I think not while gathering restrictions are in place. Actually I expect this trial to be really bad for many churches.

How are you handling the Coronavirus Pandemic?

So now we are buying time for a vaccine. Studies in China suggest coronavirus can persist at least 2 weeks after a patient recovers. At least one confirmed case has happened where someone caught it a second time. So it would seem mutation is a danger.

How are you handling the Coronavirus Pandemic?

I am concerned that social distancing may just prolong the virus' active duration. If we started with a few isolated cases, can't it easily pop up again until it runs its course? If at risk persons such as those 60 and older and those who interact with them plus their families practiced...

    Is BAPTISM MANDATORY for SALVATION...

Consider these verses. While Jesus implies his own death, others would follow. John 12:24-26 Knowing water baptism is symbolic of death with Christ. Is the analogy unreasonable that planting is the gospel, and watering baptism? Seeds do not grow in dry ground, but require moisture. 1...

    Is BAPTISM MANDATORY for SALVATION...

Yes, it can get toxic as many hold water baptism to be absolutely essential and fear for those who refuse baptism for no good reason.

    Is BAPTISM MANDATORY for SALVATION...

I'm not going to say Water Baptism is required for salvation, but I believe it is symbolic and symbols may be essential. There are some things to consider for those who hold that Water baptism is essential. There are exceptions to the general trend in scripture where the Holy Spirit comes...
