And in that note, although it is no longer on topic of the thread, I will give a small explanation of my thinking. Revelation reveals a beast having 7 heads. Those heads down the full extent of prophetic time from e even the time of Babel to our day. Babel was the root of Babylon, and the...

I disagree. Modern Christian Sabbath keepers are merely following the example of Christ and the apostles, and the early church. The burden of proof lies with you to show how, where, and why the Sabbath is not the same as it has always been since creation. And prove that any change was made...

Thank you for asking. I won't name anyone yet, because I think it's important to first flesh out why I think they are ideologies rather than empires or despots etc. I'm working on a fuller response. That particular example is a very good one that identifies Jesus as not only the Son of God...

And those doctrines are...

As I see things, the KoN and KoS as different ideologies, spearheaded by different institutions. They are the NT global spiritual counterparts to the OT literal local powers that were enemies to Israel. Today, they are both enemies to spiritual Israel, the church, and to each other.

Not sure how you expect me to answer this. It's like asking someone, when did you stop beating your wife? Ask me questions about my beliefs by all means... Ask questions about Ellen White if you wish... But you asked about my motivation in quoting her. Your attitude and responses are a vivid...

And did he? Lead people to Christ and scripture I mean. Did he do that?

Yep, the second.

It's a pity that so few are actually preaching it.

I guess God didn't get the memo. “16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old...

In common... Both written in stone. Both a part of ten. Both righteousness. Both integral to a right relationship. Both (marriage and Sabbath) established before sin. Neither were therefore established as a remedy to the sin problem. Those remedial commandments came later. Neither pointed...

I have heard and read statements similar to that many many times. But like you, no-one has at any time actually explained what that means. What does fulfil actually mean? Really? It's a choice between one or the other? How about exercising some real faith and choosing both? So. No explanation...

Christ also fulfilled the 7th commandment right? I'm sure you're wife would be very interested if you apply your conclusions to that Commandment as you have the 4th.

Then it should be really easy for you to find an example in this thread right?

Yes, the gospel is so wonderful that through the grace of God we may have an audience with the Monarch of the universe. People pay for an audience with presidents, with kings and queens of this world, and they fawn and bow before popes who are but mortal sinners, yet are reluctant to approach...

No amount of theology can create a pretense of salvation in a state of disobedience. We lost the kingdom through disobedience to an explicit command of the Most High. And we presume to regain the kingdom without any change to our hearts and manner of living?

Far be it for me to dispute scripture. However, I believe I differ from what you think it is saying. Nowhere does that passage state the 4th commandment is cancelled... Or changed. Paul is talking about Israel. Their rest was contingent on obedience. It was disobedience that kept them from...

The more important question which you will not have an honest answer to, is where did Jesus or the apostles cancel the commandment in order that it need be reinstated?
