“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? ” Genesis 3:1 KJV https://www.unfeignedbible.app/Genesis.3.1 “And the great dragon was cast out, that old...

All your arguments, whether you think they are biblical or not, fall flatter than last week's road kill, when you consider the stark reality of the life and death struggles people experience in the third world as a direct result of occult curse and witchdoctor Voodoo. Many people's have lived...

I agree with both you and Steven on this. Yes, God does change our circumstances, sometimes with life saving consequences. But God does so only of there is no alternative. The priority for God is not to ensure we live comfortable contented lives. The priority for God is that we be saved and live...

@Earburner I notice that you didn't address the reasons I gave as to why Antiochus could not possibly be the little horn of either Daniel 7 or 8. The little horn of Daniel 7 for example has at least 10 specific criteria that can be applied to only one entity. There can be no other. There can be...

Early in Christian walk, not long after I was married, my wife and I were appointed youth leaders in our local church. Later, when my wife became pregnant, she pulled away from youth group duties later in the pregnancy, and more essentially, after the child was born. I continued in the...

Voodoo priests always have a Bible front and centre in their rituals. As do Freemasons, along with the Koran. Crosses, Bibles, tattoos, whatever token or jewelry they trust in, is meaningless if their lives do not reflect the principles those tokens represent.

I agree that the 70th week was fulfilled within the time of the early apostolic ministry. I don't agree with much else. The destruction of the statue. Hasn't happened yet. The development and growth of the ten Roman horns didn't eventuate until the 5th century. The destruction of the 3, a...

Why the little horn of Daniel 7, and of Daniel 8 (subtly different) cannot possibly be Antiochus. This 'little horn' was to exceed the greatness of all the preceding powers. Media/Persia, identified by the angel as pertaining to the ram "became great" (Daniel 8:4); The he-goat itself, Greece...

You are doing precisely what people do who deny the plain reading of scripture. You really on your carnal reasoning and logic. I suggest you read again what I wrote a little above in post 229.

This post has the potential to turn the topic on its head, but I agree with you. And I've been a Christian for nearly 50 years, and my favourite rock group was Lynyrd Skynyrd. I still listen to them, along with others such as The Outlaws, and Steely Dan. But Christian rock? I don't think they...

Not sure what you are getting at here. Sorry. I would add that Alice Cooper professes the Christian faith also, aged is credited with leading others to Jesus. And then there's Little Richard. None of them are examples of godly living in Christ. But none of them are beyond the grace and mercy of...

“17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. ” Luke 10:17-18 KJV https://www.unfeignedbible.app/Luke.10.17

I think some time spent ministering in India or Africa will soon bring to light the warfare that is escalating between spiritual powers of light and darkness, and the reality of demons and/or evil angels working in our midst. In the western world our sense of logic and reasoning blinds us to...

It's effects were eternal. If death is the result of that fire, as it was for Sodom, then there is no resurrection. That death is permanent. Note. The word is punishment. That's a noun. It's final. Complete. That's the wages of sin. A final complete permanent eternal death. It is not punishing...

I agree with the posters here that have said that after a death of a friend, family member, or stranger or celebrity, we must tell the truth, we must not compromise the gospel, but neither should we ever reduce the love of God, His grace, and His mercy to a formula or emotionally charged...

Natural lightening or man made?

In my experience, it was both an event and a gradual deeper change. The effects at conversion were immediate and life changing. It was a radical change in mindset and worldview. A complete turning around in conviction and attitude to the world, to others, but especially to God. Then followed the...

I don't know whether everyone in heaven could be called 'Christians'. But those you may have doubts about as to what to call them, will most assuredly be there because of what Christ has accomplished on their behalf.

That view of the gospel extends not only to consequences and warnings from the pulpit, but from scripture itself. The Bible is clear that the choice is between life and death. Our choices have eternal consequences, as we are choosing between our Creator or an upstart pretender. A more immediate...

I'm not using the word pope as a term expressing a form of spiritual respect or endearment. It's to differentiate him from every other Francis round about. Anyway, his encyclicals promoted Catholic social policy which includes the stipulation that theft is justified if the thieves perceived need...
