Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

The breath of life (spirit) that gave Jesus, the man, physical, mortal human life did not die/sleep when His body did. His spirit after physical death left His mortal flesh and returned to the Father. The breath of life (spirit) that gives every living breathing creature on the earth physical...

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

If the rest of the dead is partly believers, they would not be written with the rest of the dead! They would be among the group who were martyred for their faith, or among the group that shall reign with Christ called "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the...

Do you not believe we reign with Christ in this life?

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

It's not simply "the rest" it is the rest of the physically dead. To physically die in unbelief means they are of the dead who shall be in silence and darkness in the graves until the thousand symbolic years have finished, then they shall be raised to life again for a resurrection for damnation.

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

The first resurrection did NOT happen at the cross. The first resurrection that all MUST have part in to overcome the second death happened when Christ bodily resurrected from the DEAD. He was DEAD, but is now ALIVE, and all who have part in His resurrection life, share in His everlasting...

It will only make sense if/when you have spiritual discernment.

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

Unless the end of days began with the first advent of Christ. These days are called "these last days". The days/time/era/age for preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, symbolized a thousand years that shall end when the seventh trumpet begins to sound. Just as the prophecy foretells, the...

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

If they came out of the graves as physical bodies resurrected to physical life again why is there nothing to my knowledge (and I've searched) of this fantastic miracle recorded? Since they appeared to MANY humans living in Jerusalem of Old, they were certainly silent about having seen something...

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

Daniel 12 is prophecy that begins with the first advent of Christ coming to earth a man. The prophecy covers the whole New Covenant age of proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom of God that began when Christ came to earth a man, and will not end until the end of these days. We know this...

I too believe those souls in Rev 6:9 are among the martyrs of Rev 20:4. But they were not martyred for the witness of Jesus according to what is written. IMO they could not have been witnesses of Jesus because they lived and died before knowing that name (Jesus. They testified for the Word of...

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

To have part in the resurrection life of Christ is not a bodily resurrection. Partaking of Christ's resurrection comes when we are born again of His Spirit and have spiritually entered the Kingdom of God. None will be bodily resurrected until an hour coming when the last trumpet sounds...

Yes, the many saints who had already died, came out of the graves a spiritual body of believers after the resurrection of Christ. And the spirit of David was among them. The rest of the DEAD are not believers, as David was.

You're assuming these under the altar lived and died after the first advent of Christ. If that were true, why are they seen under the altar and not in heaven as John says of those who were martyred for the witness of Jesus (Rev 20:4)?

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

I understand that time is measured through seasons. But I don't understand why you believe a thousand symbolic years of time of Rev 20 should be discerned as different seasons. Nor do I believe Satan is bound for "periods" of time. IMO a thousand years symbolizes all seasons of all time that...

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

The thousand years symbolize TIME that began with the advent of Christ and shall end when the seventh trumpet begins to sound. Trying to split this symbolic time to fit our doctrine makes a mockery out of this symbolic TIME. How can this symbolic TIME said to begin when Satan is bound, that...

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

I don't believe it was a literal or physical resurrection of the dead from the graves, but a spiritual body of believers who lived and died waiting for the promised Messiah/Redeemer to come and set their spirit free. We know the disciples were shown a 'vision' of Moses and Elijah. Matthew...

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

Satan is not loosed until the thousand years have finished. He cannot have his little season before he is loosed. Satan's little season follows after the thousand years representing TIME. God's wrath against Satan and all who follow him put an end to Satan's little season. Immediately before...

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

Why do you suppose John does not write of the martyred saints of Rev 6 as being witnesses for Jesus, as we find in Rev 20? Have you ever considered maybe it's because they had NEVER heard that name, because that name could only be known after Christ was born and "they called His name Jesus"...

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

Are these martyrs still under the altar since Christ's blood has been shed to make atonement for sin, and conquering death by His resurrection to life again? None could go to heaven until after the first advent of Christ. Which is why these Old Covenant faithful saints are shown under the...

Paul claimed 3 times that Rev 20:4 was a current reality.

Those of vs 6 "blessed and holy" SHALL reign in the future. When John is writing they may or may not even be born yet, they certainly are not at this point in time part of those who have already lived and died as martyrs, before they are of the first resurrection to overcome the second death...
