Is Sunday the "New Covenant Sabbath"?

It was just ignorance. What can I say! LOL The Sabbath of the Ten Commandments hasn't changed days. Nothing changes inside a covenant until the covenant, itself, is superseded with a new covenant, no matter how many hundreds of years the first is in place. That is why none of the gifts of the...

Is Sunday the "New Covenant Sabbath"?

Oh really? When do you think the New Covenant started? It started on the Day of Pentecost at the giving of the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant is the ministry of the Spirit. Jesus didn't leave earth until 40 days after the Resurrection, a Sunday. The Day of Pentecost on that Sunday fell on the...

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

In the New Covenant we are only to judge the body of Christ to make sure it is without spot or blemish. Now God is the only one to judge the unrighteous, including gays and witches. Rethink obeying to perform all righteousness. Disobedience opens the door for more human reasoning, like on the...

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

I find that it is more of a ritual, just like partaking of communion, but if you are strong now, then is it so hard to do what God asks of you rather than questioning Him? If you can't do the little things, how can He give you bigger tasks. Don't forget that it is the natural man that questions...

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

The bit about picking up serpents and drinking poison and not be hurt is nothing more than a Hebrew idiom that means divine protection, not actually about those specifics. Actually picking up snakes as in the video is the sin of presumption, which is why Jesus did not obey Satan and jump off a...

    Now We Have ADS ???

Mine don't flash, but do you get a bar at the bottom that rises up blocking what you're reading? That drives me crazy.

    New Owner/Admin @CyB

My only real complaint is this flap that keeps popping up from the bottom and covers up what I'm reading.

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

He doesn't give the office of receiving messages from God to everyone, but he does give all who believe their supernatural prayer language that doesn't require interpretation. Mark 16:16-18. Now you can accept Mark 16:16-18, or become stiff-necked and uninformed, possibly unsaved. Those are the...

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

Tongues is for when we do not know what God's will is. So to pray perfect prayer or praise to God when alone is when you use our prayer language, and Paul said he uses his more than all of us. So where are you getting that Paul is against tongues? That is willfully being obtuse. When with the...

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

    1. 1 Corinthians 14:2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. (The sign of tongues is our prayer language given to all believers Mark 16:16-18. You do not understand it and no one else does either...

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

The first type of speaking in tongues without interpretation needed is prayer and praise language TO God. It is called a sign. But tongues, like Jesus in Luke 2:34-35 was a sign "which will be spoken against." That is why in 1 Corinthians 14:22-23 it is a negative sign to the unbelievers but...

    10 Commandments too Tough?

Enoch, go back and read the scriptures in my post #15 and tell be why you don't believe them. You mentioned Paul. Don't you know his writings MUST be read in context? Many times he was speaking of what it was like back when he was under the law, (Romans 7:14-25), or when he was hunting down...

    10 Commandments too Tough?

If you can't show me scripture in what you believe, then you are just letting false teachers read the Bible for you. That is just plain lazy. You don't even believe the scriptures I showed you. You just want to believe what sounds good to your itching ears.

    10 Commandments too Tough?

Don't you know that what you wrote happened on the Day of Pentecost? Freedom from sin has already been given to us. Beware, don't wait until the resurrection to stop sinning. That's too late!!! Ask Jesus for the power of His Spirit now! Romans 6:1 and 6-7 "What shall we say then? Shall we...

Can anyone tell me what is the second…

Jesus' commandments covers all the old Ten Commandments and more going deeper to our core by His Spirit in us. The Ten Commandments are still alive and well, and sinners will be judged by them. Christians who walk in the Spirit are not under the old laws, because we establish the law, Romans 3:31.

Speaking in tongues is NOT a gift

Tongues is a negative sign to unbelievers, Jun. It confirms them in their unbelief. That is why the next verse says they will think you are crazy. Mockers of tongues today, just like in the first century, confirm they are either unsaved or uninformed. As for tongues being not for today, they...
