Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

But your conscience is on alert without reading the law. But you won't grow in the divine nature without the knowledge of Scripture.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

No, those who walk in the flesh can never please God. Romans 8:8

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

We are either a true Christian and do not willfully sin. Or in the flesh, and only act righteous with self will-power, but sin is still in them. In other words, a true Christian with the Spirit of Christ indwelling is one 24/7/365, and never in the flesh.

He is right. But you don't believe him.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

The LAW is Old Covenant. We are not under the Old Covenant, thus no longer under the written law on engraved stones. We are under the law of the Spirit. Does the Spirit make us murder, steal, lie, commit adultery, etc. Is that what you think someone who believes in Jesus can do now?

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

And when you have the righteousness of faith in Christ, do you act righteously? Are you yourself righteous if you continue in sinful ways of the world? Don't you know that a Christian sinner is an oxymoron?

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Chapter 3 of Romans is in the middle of an eight chapter teaching. Romans 3:31 shows that what was previously written about the law in this chapter doesn't mean we break the law now that we are no longer under it. In Romans 6 Paul speaks to those who believe as you do. 1 What shall we say then...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

What is grace? What is faith?

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Paul's reference to the letter of the law was in regards to the Old Covenant, not the New. Don't you know that? What is grace?

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

You still have not defined "grace" and you are still flinging ridiculous untrue accusations. Stop it. At 62, you should act like an adult

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

E walks in the Spirit like I do. Not the letter of the old laws, like keeping one day a week holy, rather than the Spirit of the Sabbath that is Jesus abiding in us 24/7/365 cc: @Episkopos

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Sorry, but Paul made it clear so people wouldn't come to your conclusion. The wages of sin is still death. What we are is FREE FROM SIN, not the penalty for sin, or to sin, but God doesn't see it and condemn you.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

True. So you act like the world? Remember Romans 3:31.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

How do we act when we have His righteousness?
  16. 1stCenturyLady

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

I agree. We are on the same page on that. That is why we are not in the Old Covenant, because that was how it was. But we are in the New Covenant. What is that like to you?

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

The give me a scripture that describes grace if you don't know how to define it.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

I think we may have a difference in definition. You've also gone back to accusations. :( How does the grace of God work in us? What is the grace of God?
