It's been a bit grim..but we knew it was too early to say...although the snow is still laying around. No more cutting grass for Dave...but lots of snow removal ahead for him. But, as farouk says......"thats Alberta" Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

Amen. Yes, and very obviously very true. Thanks :)

Zero in the mornings...getting up to about 12degs. If the sun comes out it can go up to 19 . We have brought in our patio furniture ...after three full days of heavy snow!! It is still laying around...on the roof and yards etc.

Im more worried about what 'image' in his own making does he have of Father God!!! His God seems to be an angry legalist God, full of all kinds or rules.

Thank you...good opening post , we /I need the reminder. :)

Haha! You think??? LOL For sure...lots of 'em it seems.

Agree , Paul was speaking of who he was once....= the chief of sinners. @justbyfaith ...your quote - "my sin ever before me.." was way back before the days of - "The cross before me sin and the world behind me" David at that time, could not sing that song. If God choses NOT to remember our...

Well I learned something today. :) I didn't know that was the definition. But I checked, and lo you are right. I thought I was just nondenominational ...a follower of Christ . I did not know that by default I was protestant . lol

Just like from the beginning in the Garden, we have a choice. We can believe what God says about us, or we can believe the lies of the devil...who will always tell us that our old man is still alive and needs dealing with daily. I think Paul was showing us the old man in Rom 7 ( that he...

:D I am slapping myself sideways here!!!! wow!

We 'struggle' if we have not come fully to the faith. If we have not had a vision of the power of the cross where our old man was crucified with Jesus Christ our Lord. If we refuse this , and in the face of it still declare that the old man is still alive...woe unto us...life will be 'a...

Amen to that! You have been greatly missed by many of us...good to see you again :)

WOW!! For me, a Brit...this post is quite an education...!! I never knew that. I worked in spitting distance from St Pauls and often went in to see the fine art work...and eat lunch on the steps on sunny days...I never even noticed the Masonic artwork inside !!!!!! Yikes!!!! How much more in...

Hey there Enjoying all of your posts. You have the word! I had no idea that you were as firm on this...I stand should to shoulder with you on this. :) I think much confusion comes when they ONLY see "saved or unsaved" but don't understand - saved- unsaved- and - loss of rewards or full...

I really think THIS is one of those mysteries that we will never understand until -The Other Side. I don't even pretend to understand it all. I know that Jesus tells us - John 10 "The Thief / Satan cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life...

Good post. In a nut shell would you say that fundamentalist are all head and no heart? The ones I have rubbed shoulders with are...all works and no faith. And most have no idea at all or vision of the works and moving of the Holy Spirit. I think that which divides fundamentalist and non...

Are you being serious...or just joking!! Surely you are not THAT legalist and religious???? ....

Good thought...but I have never ever thought of that being the reason God created. I have always believed God created for Love....the love of a Bride. Those who would love and worship Him for who He is, not what God does for us. "For me" there has never been any contest between between Heaven...

Yes. :) Good word. Felt very at home with his accent too... we've been here 44 years now..and are losing our British accent. LOL

Thanks, I am 'under ' a chiropractor right now. NUCCA they are chiropractors but they don't do the regular adjustments . They take hours of body measurement...( how much lean to the right or left, to the millimetre..length of legs , arms , tip of the pelvis etc etc)...calculate, then they...
