I was taught that water represents the world and its teachings. Comment please? As when Jesus went out into the water to get fish for Peter.... He was going out into the "world" and showed Peter that he would fish for men.

If there's a religion called THE WAY and YOU are part of that religion... then, again, it should say THE WAY under your avatar NOT Christian. Because, apparently, The Way does not teach what Christianity teaches.

My friend, If you don't COMPARE what Jesus said with what the church taught in the 300'sAD HOW do you know if it's the same?? The CC taught what the NT teaches in the 4th century. The problem here is that some INTERPRET what Jesus stated differently. Most of the time to suit their own belief...
