If someone is wealthy according to Essclesiates 5:19 then by Ecclesiastes 5:12 they should also be anxious: "The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much, but as for the rich, their abundance permits them no sleep." Once I had mild food poisoning and it caused...

We need God every moment of every day, but he doesn't get proper recognition for it. To seek recognition by boycotting work is a prideful display, and an affront to God.

I highly doubt the book of Revelations was just for John. Read the introduction, it says John testifies to everything he saw. Also a blessing to those who read it aloud, showing God's desire to spread the prophecy. Perhaps John understood it better than anyone else, he never shared if he did...

In the news are reports of groups boycotting work just to show the impact they have on society. I'm thinking specifically about the recent boycott by immigrants and women. Now if it were possible for God to do this in some limited way, what would happen? I believe the result would be...

Many non believers read the Bible to validate their position. They find something, take it out of intended context, then use it to validate their unbelief. The scriptures require spiritual decernment to get anything from them other than of superficial value.

I hope many have a Road to Damascus experience. (Road going north out of Jerusalem)

I would say it does apply today. One doesn't go around forgiving others for various unspecified sins willy-nilly. There should always be an effort on the part of the offender to be forgiven as it shows repentance. Matthew 6:14–15 warns against failing to forgive such a person. God hates...

I did not say anything about going to heaven in the past tense. I said shut the gates of heaven, as to prevent access to it be that past present or future, I did not specify. And you just made my point, Merriam Webster defines Heaven as follows: Do you tell me that you agree with all of...

Merriam Webster's definition of blasphemy may very well be different than God's in this context. Let's be careful not to mistakenly close the gates of heaven for someone by being too broad with the definition. But God is not looking for excuses to keep people out of heaven, because it is his...

God is before time, he can not be the product of a process that requires time. This means he could not have coalleced or evolved in any way. Simply put, God is.

You are right, and I think praying for this president and his family is expecially important. He faces opposition from all sides, and they are aggressive.

I don't think these curses make any difference. The armys of Hell are already mobilized against him. It should be obvious because the liberals are so stirred up. These witches think they are using these powers, but they are the ones being used; along with many others.

I don't see your point, and wish you would be more clear. If that is a general statement and not a personal attack, as I hope it isn't, then of course. There is no healing or hope of heaven for those in hell.

Fast in order to lose weight and that is what you get. Fast to be nearer to God and that is what you'll get. It is a sacred time not to be diminished by alterior motives. If you just want to lose weight then don't fast, diet. The down sides of fasting outweighs the benefits if you do it only...

1. I wouldn't say you have a responsibility unless they are christian 1 Corinthians 5:12, he isn't acting the part. Ephesians 5:4 If you work for a company with a sexual harassment policy and he is telling these jokes in front of women he may be in violation, even if he is a customer. As an...

Welcome! My sister also used to collect Breyer horses.

It is possible to love oneself. But that could be a perversion of what real Love is supposed to be.

Mat 4:9 Jesus was tempted with the prospect of restoring creation. Satan didn't need to know of God's plan for victory at the cross in order for the temptation to be effective. Perhaps the temptation was more effective than Satan realized, yet Jesus didn't sin. Mat 16:21 Or did Jesus rebuke...

If I had to describe love with one word, I would say it is creative. Love builds and sustains. It makes sense that God, our creator, would be the spirit behind Love. Perhaps calling Love an emotion is oversimplifying things.
