I would like to add something to the current discussion but we are straying far from the OP.

World Vision Chief Aid Director tunneling funds to terrorism

I know some people think they should give without any consideration of how the money will be used... I wonder if they still think that?

    The KJV Bible contains errors.

As for prophecy the Lord himself fulfills them, so we are all witnesses when that happens. The whole nation of Israel was witness to God giving them the ten commandments. Exodus 19:9 "The Lord said to Moses, “I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking...

    The KJV Bible contains errors.

You hold firmly to this nine years, unwilling to question it. I don't see a difference between you and everyone else who believes what they want to believe. People don't want to be wrong and spend their lives in vain, and you are no different. You should get the confirmation of 3 witnesses...

    So-Callers

I am irked by Christians referring to other Christians who disagree with their theology as "so-called" Christians. It has become the passive aggressive way of judging one-another. I may have done it before when referring to unorthodox beliefs, it is a cop-out. I would prefer if someone is...

    blashphemy of the Holy Spirit

i agree with these two, the bible is specific as to what the unforgivable sin is. Rather than adding to the scriptures accept that failing to ask for forgiveness is why many will not be forgiven. Isaiah 6:10

homosexual bullying of Christian opponents (homosexual fascism)

When talking to a non believer about religion the focus of the conversation shouldn't move past the grace of God through Jesus Christ. Talking about sin is still an essential part of that conversation, as people may wonder why they need God's grace. You certainly shouldn't go on a rant about...

homosexual bullying of Christian opponents (homosexual fascism)

He could have decided not to destroy them at that time, the choice is God's as to how much he will put up with until executing judgement. Though I do believe judgement is inevitable for all who do not repent of their sins.

homosexual bullying of Christian opponents (homosexual fascism)

I thought your question was rhetorical. it may be a stronger word in Germany but in the US calling someone a fascist or a Nazi is a derogatory way of saying they are overly strict. Yet now children are conditioned to the opposite extreme. Things that were socially taboo are well accepted so...

homosexual bullying of Christian opponents (homosexual fascism)

So you seem to be on board with the current social trend to consider homosexuality socially acceptable. If this were eighty years ago would you have gone with the pack, and approved of putting them into camps?

homosexual bullying of Christian opponents (homosexual fascism)

I agree that no one can force God's hand. However knowing God's timing is perfect it will not occur without the prophesied rebellion that he knows is coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 You don't need to fear or hate homosexuals to disagree with it and call it what it is.. sin.

homosexual bullying of Christian opponents (homosexual fascism)

Well, if everyone falls away it makes executing judgement much easier.

    jesus in islame

Ezekiel 18:20 "The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them." The belief in...

    jesus in islame

Welcome to the forums! Please don't be surprised if this topic gets moved to the inter-faith discussion subforum. What I recall is that Jesus is regarded as a Prophet in Islam. Though he did not die on the cross. I also remember a story in the Quran about the baby Jesus saying not to call...

Tim Kaine (in a big way) betrayed Christ

Since I would prefer any theological discussion on abortion be devoid of political attacks i agree it doesn't belong in the theology forum, I'll move it to the politics forum.

I started reading Eric Alexander's view and alarm bells were figuratively going off. A real Christian must believe in the bodily Resurrection of Jesus. I wouldn't be opposed to modifying the SOF to incorporate that, but it isn't up to me.
