praying for you @lilygrace...

Praying for Maria. Praise God that she is a believer because she has all heaven with her as well as the Holy Spirit and power.

Your not. You don't have a physical body that needs oxygen. You become spirit just as God is Spirit. It may not be the same body but God gives us a body. I don't know what that will look like though....

Possibly but God has other plans. ;)

Hahaha! We don't have "federal" but we do have elections under MMP.

Well we don't have a federal election. We just have an MMP voting system. "The campaign to change the country's voting system from first-past-the-post to MMP (mixed member proportional representation) was mounted by people who wanted a Parliament which was more responsive to different interest...

Wow! you get fined if you don't vote? That's crazy. Yes, I agree that the media is not to be trusted in any country. Sometimes it feels like we are being monitored like a bunch of goldfish in a fish bowl. Jm2c.

Amen! Psalms 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Glory!

So true. Faith has a lot to do with the way we interpret scripture recognizing the author of our faith based his characteristics found in scripture. The Holy Spirt dwelling in all believers, also opens up scripture when we are seeking to understand God's truth. :)

Indeed! Understandable...

Well I just hope you can wake up in time to realize that you are wasting precious time contemplating the non existence of time....while everything around you is subject to time. Then suddenly, your time is up and you face your maker. Creator of heaven and earth....just saying

Your grandma cannot come back unless the Lord allows it. Your grandma might have come back if she were a believer and God wanted her to come back to give people her testimony. I have a story. That does not mean that my story is invalid because I call my life experiences with God, a story does...

“Cling to the whole Bible, not a part of it. A man is not going to do much with a broken sword.” – D.L. Moody

I don't think it is inciteful at all. He is not outside of time otherwise he would not be dictated by time for instance, he gets up at a certain time, has breakfast goes to work, has lunch, does some more work. comes home at a certain time and goes to bed. He has the circadian clock built...

I would like to see the Church become an integral part of their community. A lighthouse in a very dark world. A place that represents hope when there is no hope...

@GRACE ambassador I would love for you to explain to us what Grace actually is: This is not a test. Thank you :D:D:D:p

*I didn't learn about God from the bible when I first became a believer. I learned that the bible helps us to understand God's charactor more as we read the various chapters. It also explains about his love towards mankind and his desire to see them all become his children. Even those who do not...

Plenty of people have been back from the dead beginning with Jesus our redeemer. You are incorrect. The bible tells us that Jesus will send his believers the Holy Spirit to dwell in us forever and to teach us all things. The Holy Spirit gives us knowledge about things that are happening today...

Hi @FunaavBetterr. Glad to have you here and Welcome to CyB!

He is talking about the fact re: if the dead are not raised. The dead being himself, his disciples and other believers [in the resurrection], then why they are they waisting their time being in constant danger of their lives on a daily basis. If the dead are not raised? Paul says he is in danger...
