Is it possible to lose salvation?

I do believe that we can forfeit our salvation... however, yes,,,it takes more to be defined as Christian other than saying a prayer... although if it's meant heartfully,,,one will be saved.

    Jesus Chooses Us

There goes the fact that we must RECEIVE.... You keep bringing up scripture that works against you. You do like to ignore scripture. Have a nice time off.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

BTW,,,,the other member you speak of is 100% correct. You should try to figure out why only Calvinists interpret scripture the way they do and no other denomination does. Interesting fact.

Is it possible to lose salvation?

Yes sir. Calvinists believe that only THEY are saved and because of their doctrine. Which puts Calvinists in a really bad position because if they are WRONG.... it means, according to YOU,,,that they're all going to hell. Great theology CS. It shows how God is: UNLOVING UNMERCIFUL UNJUST...

Is it possible to lose salvation?

As I can see, you have no understanding of scripture. You're even unable to understand what I post to you... which is why it's so difficult to post to you. You could read my posts to you again and see if you can understand what is being said and then maybe reply back. Your above post is not...

What a Modern Christian Needs to Understand to Tackle Today's Challenges

Agreed on all. I did mention that some believe they must decide between God and science. And yes, it's not just another SUBJECT matter.... but you have to get some theology in there too...it must be added or the kids won't have any answer when confronted in later years (regarding God not being...

    Jesus Chooses Us

I'll leave it up to @KUWN to show you that man IS ABLE TO SEEK GOD and that Calvinism will, once again, be proven to be wrong in all 5 points.

    Jesus Chooses Us

The angel Gabriel made known the name Jesus to Mary. This is what Luke 2:21 is referring to. The OT prophets were looking forward to the MESSIAH... NOT To God becoming flesh. Only as we look back now do we see the Son of God/Man in the OT. This is about salvation being applied to Gentiles...

I've already replied to this at at least twice. Will not repeat. Calvinism is heretical. Do you know what heretical means? Many do not. It just means any teaching that is different from the main tenets of Christianity. For instance, teaching that Jesus is not §God is heretical. How do we know...

    Jesus Chooses Us

I'm afraid that's what you're going to get... Discussion on monergism. But I'll leave it up to you to figure it out. As long as monergism is being discussed,,,the posts will not be off topic so how you control that - I don't know. The mods will figure it out. I'm not on many threads. And how...

Why I don't believe in a pretrib rapture

I will not be encouraging you with lies G. BTW,,,I'm a girl. What is your hope? That you will be removed from the tribulation? Let's look at YOUR scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet...

Oh. I had mentioned Augustine. A 5th century Catholic Doctor of the Church who had been a gnostic manechaen for 10 years before deciding to become Catholic and bringing with him some of his gnostic views. This is not interesting to you? It is §Augustine that Calvin so loved and bvased many of...

    Jesus Chooses Us

It's difficult to understand how the bible could simply be read and the person comes up with reformed theology. What DOES seem to be understandable is that man sins, God loves man and has died for him and that we can be saved if we want to be saved - and the NT explains how. In point of...

    Jesus Chooses Us

Yes rwb. I know what you mean. Problem is that other denominations do not agree.... Paul did not agree... No one agreed till Augustine in the 5th century. Read the other 2 posts too.... but it's late here.... catch you in the morning.

What a Modern Christian Needs to Understand to Tackle Today's Challenges

@Chrysostomos I just realized that the following is not what I meant to say: John Lennox, who knows about everything, has many times stated that his doctorate is not in a specific field - all scientists acknowledge your above statement. John Lennox has a PhD in Mathematics AND Theology. What...

    Jesus Chooses Us

It IS being discussed GracePeace. Monergism just means that God does EVERYTHING.... it's the opposite of what synergism means. The ONLY persons that believe in monergism are the reformed/calvinist believers... this is why you're going to attract this type of conversation. @rwb is saying that...

What a Modern Christian Needs to Understand to Tackle Today's Challenges

LOL Yes sir. You'd replace Einstein, that's for sure! Yes. We've come to this. And it's OK. It's just that scientists used to believe in God and now they don't anymore. Galileo and Newton attributed action to God and gave to Him the credit due. Now we have scientists declaring that God is not...

Why I don't believe in a pretrib rapture

Ah. I see. So a verse taken out of context by some, 1,800 years AFTER the ascension of Jesus.... Who was SUPPOSED to be the ultimate and last revelation of God... has now become part of mainline Christianity. Not so GeneZ. Major denominations to NOT accept the theory of a rapture because it...

    Jesus Chooses Us

Did persons living 5 thousand years ago need to believe in Jesus to be saved? No. Exactly because God is Triune. I agree that faith is supernatural. Could you be more precise please. I fail to see what the above has to do with Romans 1. What natural faith does ALL of mankind possess? As I...
