Yes, but before that I was 1stCenturyLady. Had to have my computer cleaned again, and asked admin for help getting back in. Does this mean you are going to be nasty to 1stCenturyLady? At one time you apologized and were going to stop.

What do you think about the interpretation of Emmanuel in Matthew 1:23?

Our liberty is freedom from sin. Bondage is slavery to sin. John 8:32-36 John 8: 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” 34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house...

Which Bible Commentary have you found to contain the most accurate interpretation of Scripture. I have been studying for years without the help of a commentary after praying that the Holy Spirit teach me God's meaning and there have been astounding revelations. I wanted to see if any of my Bible...

Christ means Messiah.

Scripture explains scripture. We are to love God with all our strength, soul and spirit. Comparing Romans 7:25 and Galatians 5:17, mind and spirit are the same thing. Some translators erroneously capitalized spirit in Galatians 5:17, but it is our own spirit/mind that is in conflict with our...

How can it be heretical when Jesus taught it? It is the Truth that sets us free, not doctrines of demons. Jesus said of those first teachings out of the Reformation, "you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead." Think about that. Dead doctrines are what causes eternal death. But I...

Read #166 to truly understand.

@Addy What you need to know about sin is how God sees sin. He classifies sin in two categories 1 John 5:16-17; Numbers 15:22-29, 30-36 1 John 3:4 are sins unto death. These are what Jesus immediately frees us from when we are filled with His Spirit - IF we have truly repented and are then...

Sinless and perfection are two different accomplishments of the Spirit. Jesus cleanses us from sin and gives us the indwelling sinless Spirit of Christ to walk in. He also give us the fruit of the Spirit. It is the maturing of the fruit that takes longer leading to perfection. 2 Peter 1:2-11...

Jesus said, the truth shall set you free. And the context is He frees us from sin, specifically the sin nature making us a new nature referred to as being born again. John 8:32-36; 1 John 3:5. We are no longer sinners, but children of God, the only ones going to heaven. Sinners will not inherit...

I apologize for my sarcasm. 1 John 5:18 18 We have known that every one who hath been begotten of God doth not sin, but he who was begotten of God doth keep himself, and the evil one doth not touch him; Here is another Hebrew idiom: Mark 16:18a 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink...

I may have told you about my long time friend in California that is no longer a friend. Because of the guy that stole my car and was a con artist, I looked up psychopaths and sociopaths and they fit him to a T, but also her. That sure explained a lot that she put people through over the years.

Paul's thorn in his side were false teachers and Judaizers. "Thorn in the side" is a Hebrew idiom like our "pain in the neck." Paul did not have problems with evil spirits! What are you even thinking? That's ridiculous! 1 John 5:18! False teachers are messengers of satan teaching doctrines of...

I've known a few, unfortunately.
