Can a Christian have a demon?

And what problems that has caused us all! Listening to what someone else thinks rather than listening to what God has spoken “for me”. God does not lead us all the same way. Just look at the difference between Paul and Peter. Different callings , both doing what God spoke to them personally...

Can a Christian have a demon?

Yes agree. We end up with complacent Christianity. The enemy is happy with that. In Eph 6 Paul reminds us of the spiritual armour needed. If there was no battle there would be no need. Called as overcomes ...the battle is not over yet.

    Just a bit of fun . . .

Here I am awake and it’s only 2.20 am. I woke up thinking no of this thread. While we know that it is humorous , I woke up feeling the challenge of , ‘what kind of Christians are we.’ Do we start to melt the moment the heat is turned up? That little poem came to me:-...

    Romans 8

Well we are all different eh. If we weren't then God would have made every tree identical. And every flower too. Different strokes etc....

What's the weather like where you are?

Dave is now 81 and he has never taken pills. Oh I lie...a few years back he did have to take painkillers for his back problem. But I honestly cannot remember him ever having to take prescription drugs. I take two for blood pressure, half a one for heart, and blood thinners. Better than some...

    The cycle of abuse

Thank you so much John for your time and patience in posting this here. I read it...but I must go back and re read is much slower so I really get it. you said So in a nut shell is evil and darkness the absence of Good and Light? Or is that simplified too much. Agree, if it were not...

    Why are you here?

Cut my teeth on Spurgeon and A.W Tozer. Leonard Ravenhill , Smith Wigglesworth and others... OH and for sure Andrew Murray...most of them holiness preachers. If there is one thing I have learned in my walk with the Lord, it is to learn from those who walked close to God, and have gone before...

    Obedience to what?

Good question, I like that. I await his answer too. :) Jesus said He came and fulfilled the law. If what He said is true...then the ONLY way we can keep the law is IN HIM.. While we remain "in Him" we too fulfil the law. Yet @marks hit the nail on the head...the law of Moses was for and...

    The cycle of abuse

Agree, in another thread we would probably argue on my post #320 back over the page....I type slowly, by the time I posted it about 6 posts had been posted on top of it! :D But, never mind...we each have to stand on what we believe GOD has shown us...not what man has told us ..which for the...

    The cycle of abuse

Scripturally hell and the lake of fire are not the same thing. Just saying :)

    The cycle of abuse

That is if you believe in that kind of hell. I don't. I began to learn that there have been, in centuries past, and still are today, a few people in the world that see a different kind of God in the Bible. They see a God who will not let any creature suffer forever. They see a God in the Bible...

    The cycle of abuse

I do. But I qualify that by saying If I like the subject title and want to respond to the OP , I then respond without reading any other posts. ( so I am not influenced) THEN I go back to post #2 and read on down. Often someone will have mentioned a verse or a concept that I posted. ( and...

    The cycle of abuse

Haha! You and me both! So much that I still not quite understand. My take on God creating evil is 'God sets the stage'...man chose how the play would go...and evil is the result. Man, without God is darkness. I say this because if God created evil , and brought all the evil we see into the...

    Last Trump vs Seventh

    Romans 8

All threads that are loaded with few words and many video always die. This is a discussion Site..and people are here to discuss. The lazy way of 'discussing' is to let some video do it for you!! I don't come here to watch videos. I can do that on YouTube if I am inclined. Bless you...H
