"Abstain from any appearance of evil"....bring no reproach. ?? One is our condition, one is our position. We are working out our condition to line up with our position in Christ. Declared clean, but our feet get dusty. Maybe?

Me too. But even then, both *Aspen and *Frank Lee both texted us on here from the hospital when they needed our prayer back-up for their condition. I do hope that he is okay. :(

I believe 'walking worthy' means ( to me) being worthy to carry His name. Being worth to be in His army. Worthy to be a son. = not discredit or bring shame on the God we serve. How far we have fallen...I am not as proud to call myself a Christian as in the beginning...( for me 55 yrs ago)...

@Lady Crosstalk I remember when we were kids doing homework, my older brother said to me. <I just write untidy and messy if I can't spell a word , then no ones knows if I can spell it or not!! > Maybe I should write more like Mark= bbyrd009, then it wouldn't matter how I spelled it! I...

Not clever at all. Enoch111 is always catching my blips ..thanks , I did mean to write crowd. I could have just as well written croud ...it is all the same in my head :D Thanks for the catch. :)

Okay bossy britches. I still believe God has given EVERYMAN the wherewithal , call it faith, conscience, expectation or whatever... Everyone has the ability needed... We ALL have a measure of faith anyway...even the great unwashed get out of bed in the morning and believe that somewhere the...

Haha!! Even the title here is way off:- "< The Holy Spirit appoints Jack Van Imp to tell the world.... >" Last time I looked Jesus appointed His Church that job over 2000 yrs ago. So, sorry, that job is already taken!! Jack Van Imp is just one of the crowd.

YES!!! I agree with him 100% I too know ( and have shared here) about a lovely christian brother who came back from the mission field and committed suicide . I know I will see him again. His heart was so much 'after God' but his flesh was weak..he gave up, got depressed...etc etc....same...

So you say Dave...but I wouldn't wish the stand in your shoes :) Take good care my friend. Isa 5 20 "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their...

Rom 12:3 3 "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. "

..okay, I've done that now...hope we get something back from one of them.✟

...yet it seems strange that IF he was feeling well enough after his doctors visit, he would have mentioned here what his doctor thought. It is a little out of character for him. :( I will try shooting him and email...maybe Kathy with answer it if he doesn't.

Who is JellyJam... :D

"Why is that.." = you mean re missing him? Because I was praying for him and he was one who I felt was very honest in 'where he was'.. I remember how sad he was that he was separated from his daughter... Who knows, some people you seem to 'take to' and some I just don't ( it's hard work ha!)

Haha!! I thought I remembered you from about a year or so ago on this Forum. But I forget what the avatar was. Oh well, never mind...whoever he was, I miss his posts.

I am just posting a one liner to get this into my Alerts I want to come back to it tomorrow...I am closing down now for the night. This looks interesting..( hope everyone can post in discussion mode, and not aggressive debate mode. :) )

My daughter just drove home from my grand daughters house ..a 15 min drive...she texted that she saw THIRTY cars abandoned in snow drifts between Lisa's house and her house!!! And that didn't even happen in our WINTER snows!!! :(

I am just getting this into my Alerts. The "unpardonable sin"...is a subject I don't much agree with some peoples take on it!! So I want to watch this video tomorrow...my brain is too tired right now...almost time for bed.

Okay..got it now..and agree..yet I still am not sure about "Putting faith IN the Gospel.." We are never told to put our faith in any one or anything than God Himself. Shall I say what others say on her= < Verse please?> :D or " can it be quoted,"... as bbyrd009 would say. lol

@Nancy Where is your post? It says in my Alert that you posted here...but I can't see it!!! :(
