The statue of Daniel 2 is the blueprint for the rest of prophecy. Anything that is interpreted from later prophecies that disagree with the basic skeleton of history as revealed in Daniel 2 must be set aside until understanding harmonizes. Daniel 2, 7, and 8 all agree on the basic empirical...

In its infancy, the US was founded on Christian principles, even though there were deists, spiritualists, Freemasons, and self serving industrialists and exploiters in the mix. Prophecy informs us that the US was given to Christianity as a safe haven for their practise, no longer having to worry...

@BreadOfLife Can you explain why none of those "popes" you mention in the first 5 centuries ever claimed apostolic succession: never cited Matthew 16:18 as the source for authority: and never used Peter's confession or the Lord's affirmation of the heavenly inspiration of that confession as a...

I wasn't looking for them. And I didn't run. I couldn't. The fear I felt wasn't some childish freeky teenage prank game playing with something I didn't know about. I had just a couple of weeks previously met Jesus. I was born again and rejoicing in a faith I had never known existed. The enemy...

True Christians, consecrated and sanctified, are already seen as extremists, fanatics, zealots, fundamentalists, and even terrorists in some quarters. How to handle that? Embrace it. You're doing okay. KJV Titus 2:14 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and...

I've seen demons. They are as real as your letter box. And more powerful than you can imagine. But not more powerful than Christ who is your only defense. Body language. 6000 years of study.

Not your assessment of the Catholic church, but your assessment of me in being a fount of understanding and knowledge...

@Ritajanice I have previously noticed that you are in the UK. The history of the Celtic church of Britain is particularly fascinating, and very worthwhile a look at. But don't believe just any version. You would be aware I am sure of the ongoing very long battle between Protestantism and...

Lol. There are certain Catholic members here who would disagree with your assessment. Vehemently so.

I was raised Catholic, but when I was converted I felt the need to study the history of the church in order to appreciate better why the Lord took me away from that faith. This study wasn't like some intensive PhD over several years, but simply an interest and ongoing love of history and truth...

Possibly needless to point out, but I will anyway for those less familiar with history, but the ecclesiastical system that developed in Rome during the 3rd and later centuries, bore little or no resemblance to the church that Christ established in Jerusalem, and those churches which sprung up as...

In order to fully appreciate the connections between the theory of spiritual adultery and the Catholic church, you need to understand the history of the Roman church in its relationship first to the emperors, and secondly to the kings and queens and rulers of the nations throughout the dark...

Hi. The best way I can answer this is by giving an example from an event in the NT John the Baptist, according to Jesus, had the spirit and the power of Elijah. John was as bold and as straight in his testimony against a Herod, as was Elijah in his rebuke of Ahab and Jezebel. In both cases there...

So I have been reading through Ephesians when I came to this... 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious...

Scriptures inform us Christians that there are more deeper aspects to our understanding of the role of the law than you are suggesting. While you intimated correctly, that love fulfills the law, you cannot make that concept as a generalisation for all the law given to Israel. Not can you sort...

This thread is all about, or supposed to be, papal authority. Sunday was established in the church by no-one other than papal authority. That's history. And the burden of proof for observing Sabbath isn't on me, and to claim the ten commandments were only for the Jews has always been the most...

Actually no. And the earth was already present, although described as being without form and void, when God started creation of the earth and everything on it, and the such lights etc to given seasons and times. Nor am I so arrogant as to assume than mankind are the only life forms in existence...

It's interesting. I never knew Jehovah's Witnesses held the same antipathy toward the Sabbath and used the same excuses for forgetting what God said to remember, as the spiritual conglomeration of Babylon the Great , that institution they claim they have nothing in common with. You too, if you...

A Babylonian concept adopted by the Jews when I'm captivity? Please.

It took thousands, perhaps millions of years, for God to work out how to create a man? The word of God says it took 6 days. The Sabbath was the 7th day of the week... Again, scripture testifying that this is truth... And that one week comprising 7 days is not defined by nature. Yes, the day is...
