How to avoid the mark of the Beast.

How to avoid the mark of the Beast. "... seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."...

    When you hear “God”

I read and I talk with God. What comes to mind when reading scripture is very dependent on the place I am reading. Unless there is some kind of emphasis in that area of a name, I rarely focus on or hear one particular name. When I am responding to someone as on this post or elsewhere on a...

    When you hear “God”

To be in the name, is it necessary that we know how people have pronounced a name with their physical mouths in times past or even how others now pronounce it today? Should we imitate them with our mouths? What does the highlighted underlined phrase of the following verse mean? "For where two...

What if you lose your faith?

"And so endure but for a time"! This speaks of the guy who chooses Jesus and then changes his mind; He backslides! Or like Simon here, a person believes but fails to then to continue to humble himself before God, following the lead of his own flesh, his own pride, his own greed. He fails to...

What if you lose your faith?

"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death." Rev 2:11 And if a person does not overcome, a person, who has been born again [born from above], will he not then die the second death?

    Being Faithful to God

@Episkopos Aye... Are we not to choose what God would choose for us rather than what we would choose for ourselves? Can any of us elevate ourselves? Should we even try? "But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee...

    What is impossible for God?

Some people, or so it seems, really do want to be ignorant so that they don't have to concede that surrender to God is a necessity. They want their own way, but often they want that way to be also God's Way. Is this building yet another tower of Babel [confusion]? Did they knowingly do it this...

    What is impossible for God?

Then would it be men confusing men with their translations? See the discussions about different English translations on this very forum... Are men going to solve their own problem of being unable to agree what the scripture says and what it means? As always it seems men want to leave out God...

    What is impossible for God?

You don't want to debate and your post is lengthy with several items I would have to cover a lot to state my own position. We'll leave it here then...

    What is impossible for God?

Did not Jesus enter into to hell when he came to planet Earth as a man being subject to pain and suffering and temptations as other men? Were we not all born in hell, but then God had a plan which included sending His Son into hell to provide us to opportunity to get out of this place of death.

    What is impossible for God?

What happened to the first ten children of Job? Should we try to second guess God. Are our ways then always His Way? Do we always have His mind?

    What is impossible for God?

God sent His son to provide people with the same opportunity that the first Adam and Eve had, to choose Life or death. If God knew that Satan would rebel and Adam and Eve would sin, why did He create them? Perhaps God created people who given other alternatives would in the end of the matter...

    What is impossible for God?

Why should those who have never believed have any resurrection? Resurrection means bringing to life. Unbelievers are dead and never come to life unless and until and IF they believe.

    What is impossible for God?

"But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee." I Chron 29:14

    What is impossible for God?

God has spoken curses as well as blessings and He also has mercy available. King David did things which according to the letter of the law given to Moses seemingly demanded the curse of death... yet God had mercy on David. We, at least some of us, may understand why He had mercy on David or on...

Do Christians sin like the unbelievers?

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." John 14:12

Fellow Brits and friends from other nations.

I was a student in West Berlin at the time and used my Christmas holiday break to travel by train to London. I really did not see much as I had a severe case of bronchitis from riding on an unheated train... but I did manage to get a few pictures before having to return to Germany. My one and...

What was Paul hearing from God? What are we hearing from God? What are our pastors or ministers hearing from God? Who is hearing from God and then also obeying God's Word to them? "But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear...
