What if temporal Israel were to rule over the temporal nations of this temporal earth for a little while (in accordance with a false messiah ruling from a temporal brick and mortar Temple)....which I believe is a possibility.....what eternal good would it do them? Each unbelieving Jewish soul is still going to die at the end of this short little life and face God's judgment. And would the nations of the world enjoy being ruled over by a foreign power? Sister..........the flesh profits NOTHING. We really need to get hold of that truth.
God purposed that Israel would rule the nations and they will in the millennium. God is giving mankind every opportunity to turn to Him. Mankind cannot say if you took away Satan and had a righteous rulership for us we would walk in your ways. No, God is showing that throughout the 7,000 years of time that man, nations, Israel, and even angels were found unworthy to rule. Jesus alone if the Worthy One.

Irrespectively, do you deny Peter was part of Christ's "Church", which just means "congregation"? Even Doug conceded that much.
Peter is destined to rule over the 12 tribes of Israel as Jesus promised. (Matt. 19: 28) We are not the 12 tribes.

Irrespectively, Jesus gave instructions about if a person sins, you go to them personally, then, if they don't listen, bring other witnesses, and, if they still don't listen, bring them before Christ's Church/Congregation, and if they still don't listen, kick them out of the congregation, and treat them as a tax collector, so was Peter in this "congregation", or was he kicked out of that congregation/Church?

The Lord has two congregations - Israel and the Body of Christ. They are both `called out ones, Ekkesia.`

Israel is called out of the nations.
The Body of Christ is called out of Israel and the nations.

I dont give personal opinions when I teach on spiritual matters. 1Peter 4:11

Scripture is of no private interpretation,
1Peter 1:20,
- knowing this first that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation
That actually means that no scripture is to be taken in isolation, but with all of scripture.

He most certainly is. As noted, the subject never changes--Jesus names Peter "Cephas", the rock, then says he will build His Church on that rock, then says He gives the keys to "you" (singular), Peter.

No, but I recognize Peter was the foremost Apostle, and, indeed, his name is on the foundation stones of the New Jerusalem, which is the Church (Revelation 21:14).
God`s word says - `For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.` (1 Cor. 3: 11)

Peter is certainly NOT what the Lord is building on.

That actually means that no scripture is understood privately where no other believers can understand it too.

So, Peter is a member of the Church right?

Yeah, He was a member of the Church of Christ :funlaugh2

No, not the denomination, the actually Church of Christ

What scriptures are you referring to please?

No. No scripture is to be taken in isolation of the other scriptures. That is how error and false doctrine occurs. All scripture is needed for all topics and not just pick and choose for one`s own doctrine. Hope that is clearer?

So, Peter is NOT part of Christ's Church which He says He will build, and that the gates of hell will not prevail against? LOL! What did Peter do that he got kicked out of the congregation? LOL!
He didn`t get kicked out. He knew very well what his inheritance would be - ruling over the 12 tribes of Israel.
