Was Satan bound and conquered at the Cross then loosed?

I think the strong man in verse 21 is a demon, since the context is demon possession of a person. The one stronger than he in verse 22 is Jesus driving out the demons by the finger of God. The world is different I think.

    I am a Liberal

When your forced to give something by definition it isn't charity... I thought you wanted to focus on the morality of these issues, and ignore socioeconomics. There are the employed that are a burden on their co-workers. Proverbs 26:10.

    I am a Liberal

I was going to post yesterday but lost what I was writing. Dan57 has said it well. There is nothing fair about progressive income taxes. What would be fair is everyone pays 15 cents on every dollar they earn. But the way it is someone making 50k a year pays 7 cents on their dollar, and...

Was Satan bound and conquered at the Cross then loosed?

John 12:31-32 "31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. 32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” I think this refers to all judgement, and we know that there is still judging to be done on the earth...

    I am a Liberal

Equality of outcome, with inequality of input creates a self-destructive economic system. Equality without fairness is a lie, and not equality at all, It removes the incentive to produce or aspire to greater things. The satanic part of Liberalism is this lie perpetuated by the covetous...

Would a loving God really send us "delusions"?

agape is the word used in the greek.

Would a loving God really send us "delusions"?

One saved at instant of faith, baptism, both or ?

I view it through 1 Corinthians 13:12 KJV "12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." Also 2 Corinthians 3:16

Would a loving God really send us "delusions"?

If someone wants to believe something they will. I think this verse is more of a matter of the heart than any particular religious lie. Do you prefer someone scratch your itching ears or tell you like it is.

One saved at instant of faith, baptism, both or ?

I believe you are baptized into Jesus' death symbolically with the water baptism. Receiving the Holy Spirit is the other baptism which is the deposit of the new life in Christ. I now believe the only moment of salvation is the moment Christ was raised from the dead. From God's eternal...

Would a loving God really send us "delusions"?

God is giving those who love and practice falsehood exactly what they want.

Homosexuality: Is it the way a person is born?

Many translations say "all kinds of evil." Even so, if money is the root of all evil, selfishness is the soil where it grows.

    Taking Scriptural Authority

Thanks Shirley, There are things I would consider disputable matters, and God will sometimes give special insight into these. I have found it is not profitable to share those, because it causes disputes. It may be obvious because the Holy Spirit told you, but to other people it is absolutely...

    Taking Scriptural Authority

So there is no issue with using the scriptures heavily to make your point.
