Trust.

The scriptures are the word of God, and they will not return to him empty. This is the authority of scripture, and as followers of Christ we can know his ways and follow them. The Church certainly doesn't have authority over the scriptures, or should man be true and God a liar.

How should you present the scriptures along with your own ideas and interpretation? Is it improper to present your ideas along side scripture as to say, "if you disagree with me you disagree with scripture". I am leaning towards not coercing people to believe as I do out of their fear of God...

Did you ever hear of the "Hot Spots of Terrorism and Other Crimes in the United States" funded by the department of homeland security. It pretty much labels anyone who disagrees with the state as a threat. No not soon, that ship has sailed. We are already considered a threat.

Sure, Here is part of the summary from the video: "Renowned Pastor in Uganda with a "successful ministry" in saving many souls, many healed and many delivered was SHOCKED when JESUS told him "if I came today to take my Bride...I WOULD NOT TAKE YOU." At that moment, he said "ALL HIS THEOLOGIES...

Welcome bud_break! I'm glad you found Jesus. Continue to seek him and get him to teach you. In my experience the more someone thinks they know the less they actually know.

You can hear the angel harmonizing in the video. He even does a solo at the end.

I was thinking of recommending our small church get a notification system, and I wounder if anyone has any experience with these. I would like a system that calls the numbers from different groups and plays a recorded message to them. If a message could also be emailed or SMS texted that would...

I came to love the truth through my relationship with God. I have to believe all Christians love the truth, and this is why most hold to their opinions doggedly. They think their own opinions and the truth that they love are one and the same. This is how I show reverence to the truth, I...

It contains some good doctrine, and a lot of bad.

I don't know why anyone would want to be identified by their sexuality. Next thing you know people will start using it as an honorary.

All I know is I can't make myself afraid of God again. Call it stupidity, or over-confidence in him. I really don't trust any message people give on God's behalf, they have to bring my attention to what God is saying. Even then I'll forget if it doesn't ring true.

Most be all that second hand smoke :P

I maintain a presence through my cell phone, if I were worried for myself I would be far more concerned than just making a post. There would be far more prayer and fasting. I'm concerned about correct doctrine.

Strange, I would use 2 Cor 5:8 to argue that the kingdom of heaven is within us. Isn't this how fasting works?

Look at the stones that were used to build altar's to the Lord. Those stones were not to be dressed.... by human hands.

There is a moment when the Holy Spirit enters you and seals you as a child of God. Protestants call this the moment of salvation. Is that it, or is your soul still in danger? Philippians 1:6 "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until...
