Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

So far, unless I missed it, I don't know what you believe Paul taught that was contrary to what Jesus taught. What in Paul's writings do you believe is heresy?

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

Right. It is what Jude called turning the grace of God into lasciviousness.

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

I can agree to that. What I don't agree to is when some say the willful sins they commit aren't sin anymore.

What do you mean by proof readers? The verse talks about reproof, which means rebuke. The verse is also talking about what scripture does for us.

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

Do you have faith in Peter's apostleship? Peter calls Paul's writings, scripture. 2 Peter 3: 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in...

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

We must repent in order to receive this grace/power. If it was unmerited, then we wouldn't have to repent, the whole world would be saved, called Universalism - a false doctrine.

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

In other words, the Spirit of Power. 33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. This heavenly power is given to all who repent, and is called the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

Yes. Here is another scripture. You put it as the law of grace by faith in Christ. And Romans 8:2 puts it another way, but means the same, and clarifies what is grace. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ. Thus grace is the power of the Spirit, and life equals faith. We not only have faith...

Can Jesus and Paul be reconciled on the LAW?

I don't see any discrepancy. Jesus said that He would make us free from sin; that we would no longer be a slave to sin, but would instead be a son. John 8:34-36, 1 John 3:5. Paul says the same thing, that we are dead to sin. Romans 6:2. And Romans 8:14 says, For as many as are led by the Spirit...
