I wasn't talking about unbelievers. The church doesn't call unbelievers heretics. I was talking about heretics, those who choose to believe differently from the orthodoxy. Or the Catholic magisterium. Believing for oneself as opposed to simply accepting what others believe, is called religious...

With respect to the actual meaning of heresy. A heretic is one who chooses for himself what he may believe. This is regardless of whether or not it is truth. I think however God would prefer heretics, to those who surrender their thinking powers to another. At least God can talk and convince a...

I agree with your previous posts, but here, not do much. I do agree that there is a spiritual body awaiting those who die in the flesh. But that event of inheriting that promise is not realised until the resurrection. KJV 1 Corinthians 15:41-53 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another...

We all know that the soul can speak...but we are talking about dead people here under an altar. We must not take just one verse out of a symbolic apocalyptic book and base an entire genre of doctrine upon it. Let's look at the context and the traditional historicist hermeneutic of the seals...

Are you implying that the meaning of soul changes from Genesis as scripture goes forward? You are right. Based on Genesis I take the soul as being the whole person...a living being, the combination of dust and spirit(breath)... KJV Genesis 2:7 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the...

It is the figurative or metaphorical exercise such as when the blood of Abel cried out for justice. The souls under the altar is metaphorical. Only blood was ever under the altar.

Sorry, but that is impossible. According to Genesis the soul only came into existence when the dirt was given life by the breath. When either the dirt or the breath was separated, the soul ceased to exist.

I would like to know where you are going with this. How many Christians do you quiz regarding their transgressions and sins since conversion? Just a reminder. Not all work on the Sabbath was sinful. "My Father works and I work". "It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day".

The church.

Whatever literal temple might or might not be built in Jerusalem, will never, ever, be the temple of God, which is what Paul is talking about in Thessalonians. The only temple of God is His church. And the Antichrist is already in that temple, receiving standing ovations and hearty hurrahs from...

I haven't always been an Adventist. So yes. I was also a murderer, a thief, a philanderer, and a number of other things unworthy of mention. I would contest Paul's claim to being the chiefest of sinners. Your point being?

You think death is no longer the wages of sin?

@amigo de christo Calm down mate. I was quoting the Vatican's own press releases. That's what they say, not me. And I'm not Barney.

It doesn't matter if you are right or wrong, choosing one is better than procrastinating or being indecisive. The road of life is paved with flat possums who couldn't make a decision.

The Sabbath goes deeper than just resting. The rest from our own labours speaks predominantly of righteousness by faith, and is diametrically opposite to earning ones way to heaven. Observing the Sabbath is about relationship. Relationship first with the God who creates and redeems, and secondly...

You are right. Find common ground, and act for the common good. Pass laws and enforce them for the common good. For example, we all agree we need to save the planet right? https://www.greensabbathproject.net/

1. Have we believed for so long, a lie that convinced us our freedoms could never be taken away, that today we fail to recognise the truth that they are already gone? 2. We know from prophecy that shortly before the second coming, amidst almost universal agreement and standing ovation, Satan...

You don't care if our beliefs are wrong and lead us to hell? And you say you love us? Do you not see a contradiction there?

It is the word of God that is correcting you, and you are either ignoring it, or choosing not to believe it. God allows freedom? Freedom to believe anything you like? Freedom to sin? Freedom to travel? Yes, for the time being He allows freedom, but that is only for the purpose of bringing you...

I have posted this because there is a suggestion that Satan is dead, or no longer going about like a roaring lion. The time is coming when church and state will unite, and seek to destroy the people of God. The Dragon in Revelation 12 and 13, and the beast that supports the apostate church in...
