People will be lost because they didn't bother to search out the truth. Today, with Bibles everywhere, and an internet with the capability to investigate any issue, concordances, teaching web sites, resources enough to sink a ship, there is no excuse. Stating that you don't actually care what...

Whoever baptized babies rendered the entire ritual meaningless, biblically speaking. So perhaps you can explain to us what the purpose was in baptizing babies. What were they hoping to accomplish?

I did. Your entire thesis is hanging on a presumption...

Jesus is not coming back for Jews. He's coming back for His bride, which comes from every tribe, tongue, and people from the entire planet, which will include some Jews. The second coming is a global event. The preceding tribulation and time of trouble is a global trouble. The end time crisis...

Question. Does "this generation" mean... A. The generation He was talking to or B. The generation that would see the signs He had just described?

Of the vast population of the earth before the Flood, only eight souls believed and obeyed God's word through Noah. For a hundred and twenty years the preacher of righteousness warned the world of the coming destruction, but his message was rejected and despised. So it will be now. Before the...

None of that suggests the Sabbath was given up by the Christians. History quite suggests otherwise. Churches observed the Sabbath for several centuries, particularly in the Celtic churches of Britain, the Ethiopian churches, and the churches of the east. Even on times doorstep, churches observed...

@MatthewG The vision in Daniel 2 reveals the history of mankind from the time of Babylon to the second coming. 4 empires, the 4th changing nature, and yet enduring right to the end, but finally destroyed at the second coming along with the philosophical and ideological remnants of all the...

So I've heard many times, and most of which I can agree. But as I said above, it is a mystery why, if the Sabbath had indeed been abolished as you say, why was there absolutely no protest from either Christian or traditional Jews. The setting aside of literal circumcision created a furore. But...

You didn't explain the complete lack of controversy among Jewry the change from 1000s years of Sabbath keeping to a supposed cancellation of a day God made holy and sanctified.

The shadows indeed pointed to Jesus as the Deliverer and Saviour from sin. The Sabbath however was instituted by Jesus Himself before sin, before there was any need of a Saviour. But the issue in relation to this thread wasn't whether the Sabbath is valid or not. It's about religious and civil...

David my friend, come on. I know this isn't the topic of the thread so I'll keep this brief, and make it the last comment for me here regarding the Sabbath. Do you really believe the after 1500 to 2000 years or so, Paul is saying here, "hey fellow Hebrews, guess what!! You can ignore the 4th...

I will ask you a question or two. . Which men taught you that one didn't have to believe in Christ, or repent of sin, in order to be baptized.. and who taught them? Second, are you aware that the above is what you are stridently advocating, and are you aware of how little sense it makes... Not...

Take care not to write off that which you have not yet seen or understood.

No, first, it isn't amigo's opinion. He is merely repeating scripture. KJV Acts 8:35-38 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what...

The issue isn't about gathering together. It's a religious liberty issue. The Pope is leading the world in calling for a climate Sunday. Shutting down industry and closing corporate sales and business. Enforcing a Sunday rest. That I don't mind. The next step however, as was taken previously in...

Great question. I'm a Seventh Day Adventist, working in the SDA school system. You know I believe how we think the mark of the beast will be finally implemented. A global form of worship mandated by government, which will include Sunday as a day of rest. Will the Seventh Day Adventist church...

No, decided a long time back, no more. But it wasn't about the money the job brought in. The job itself I love, it's a service for a local Christian school. I see myself as working for Jesus. The school system I'm in was merely following government mandates.

My wife and I had original jabs, she one, me 3 because of work mandates. I consider us both blessed that we didn't come to harm. All the jabs carry different loads of genetic material. Like a vegetable broth dished out to numerous people, not everyone gets the same amount of carrots. With the...

You are right in the above, however that's just a means to an end. That all merely makes it easier to control the planet, and enforce worship. One religious unity of all religions with one leader in Rome ruling all. The Dark ages revisited only on a global scale.
