Matthew, I have no issue with freedom of conscience/belief etc. Liberty is essential to true worship. It's also essential for false worship, and is an encouragement to false prophets.

More wisdom... A Happy or Unhappy Marriage?—If those who are contemplating marriage would not have miserable, unhappy reflections after marriage, they must make it a subject of serious, earnest reflection now. This step taken unwisely is one of the most effective means of ruining the usefulness...

KJV 2 Peter 3:13 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. KJV Isaiah 65:17 17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. "The meek shall inherit the...

I would take that even further. Jacob was named Israel because he had overcome. Jesus is the true Israel for the same reason. Those who joined the nation or were born into the nation of Israel were called Israelites, those who join Jesus are spiritual Israelites. It wasn’t until Jesus came on...

I'm curious as to how you can so simply and easily brush off phoneman's post on Revelation 12:17 (and there are many other tests along the same lines) which so clearly contradicts your belief based on one misunderstood and misapplied verse, that Satan no longer has any influence, affect, over...

Needed the creeds? What was wrong with scripture? The sad result of having creeds was that people were persecuted for not accepting them. They became a test of faith, whereas scripture alone ought to be the sole test of faith. In other words, the declarations of church councils and the opinions...

Yes, like placing the Antichrist in some unknowable future and restricting his activity to 3 and 1/2 years. Looking to the future for some evil maniacal anti Christian and anti church tyrant with guns blazing and firing at everything and anything that hints at salvation through Jesus, where in...

Which is proving to be a wildly successful initiative, and a prophetically significant movement in these last days.

The announcement of the number of those who are sealed marks the completion of the sealing. This event takes place at the same time as the mark of the beast is accepted by apostates. The 144,000 cannot be a literal number of the saved, nor a literal number of Jewish evangelists... The church is...

Christians have done the same thing to the statue of Daniel 2. They have dismembered the feet from the legs and inserted a 2000 year gap where God didn't know what was going to take place.

Yes, just as you said. I'm not talking about the Colonnades, but you know that already right? You are just evading the obvious.

You say it doesn't apply only because it doesn't harmonize with your dispensational hermeneutic. There are no biblical reasons why it doesn't apply to all prophetic time prophecies, and a lot of extremely good reasons why it does.

Because Ezra recognised the hand and the Spirit of God upon the declarations of those 3 secular rulers, and accepted the 3 decrees as the one will of God. The temple, the services thereof, the city and the wall, and the potential establishment of a local independent government was bound up in...

Show us from Daniel 9 where God explicitly says, follow the year/day principle when reading.

Prophetic time is understood by a principle, day for a year. One day in prophecy equals a literal year in real time. KJV Numbers 14:34 34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye...

Interesting. Cheers, Chris, will check it out.

I respectfully disagree, the 490 years finished at His death...33ad... At His anointing and Baptisn, when the holy Spirit came upon Him and His ministry as Messiah began, was 69 weeks.

Okay, for the umpteenth time, seeing you still refuse to listen and actually respond intelligently to the posts others offer, 1. Matthew 25 days the fire is everlasting. God Himself is a consuming fire and is eternal. In His presence sin cannot exist. When God appears at the end of the...

Mmm, yeah, modern Christians attempt to reduce death to separation from God. They claim it isn't a complete absence of life, but simply a different address. Yet they, and I don't have any expectation that either you or Grail would either, explain how any entity, be it angel demon or man, can...
