Pride is something a lot of us have to deal with at times, so how may we humble ourselves? I found an article from Billy Graham's site that addresses this issue. About how one may humble themselves, Bible verse references are given inside the article. 12 Ways to Humble Yourself I will also...

Hey doesn't Joel Osteen always say at the end of his sermons "Get into a good Bible based Church." Just sayin' :D

For the part for where it says for one to should remain quiet if there is no interpretation, is for when you are in a Christian gathering or Church gathering. I have not had the gift of interpretation, or it has not been activated yet, but I know when I pray in the spirit, the Holy Spirit knows...

Whether what they preach is true or not, they have led millions to Jesus through the salvation prayer. Will respond more later though, as I have got stuff to do.

And i will also say that I am a non-denominational charismatic Christian, so I might have some different views about the word of faith.

@Giuliano I do not agree with everything Copeland and Duplantis does, they do have their strengths though, but pride is a major weakness I have noticed on many tele-evangelists, megachurch preachers, even a lot of other Christians, some more than others, and I would even humbly admit I may...

So I got a question for you guys, Abraham, David, Joseph, Solomon, Job, were all blessed with an overflowing abundance, so why are Christians not allowed to be blessed like that today? And large ministries have large running costs, do any of you know how much they cost to run? And what is...

Finally read this and saw the double meaning to what I wrote. hahahhaha :D

Coming into agreement with the prayers above. Baby be healed, in Lord Jesus's name, Amen.

Just a friendly public warning, earlier, a number of people were in breach of the Flaming, Goading, Harassment rule in this thread, I think they know who they are. So please watch how you respond. Thanks Christianity Board Forum Rules .

The Aussie Charismatic Christians I have met in real life tend to have a different viewpoint on both Copeland and Duplantis being excellent "word of faith" preachers. And we should remember Abraham was blessed greatly, Joseph was blessed greatly, Solomon was blessed greatly, David was blessed...

A Call for Calm You all may have noticed lately a few threads being locked, this was due to many breaches of the rules, a lot of disrespect, insults, hate, targeted personal attacks, denominational attacks, a lot of trying to tear each other down and a lot of heated argument was going on in...

So to summarize it, the Bible is very clear on being saved through faith in Jesus Christ by the grace of God. And the Trinity, if you believe all these verses below, they all point towards LORD our God. "LORD our God" is seen many times throughout the Old Testament, but here's a reference...

He used apostles to reach other people through Evangelism as being led by the Holy Spirit to do so, and the cycle went on. The spreading of Gospel by word of mouth is one way, but God can also use other ways, whether it be dreams and visions, or missionaries giving the Bible to others in their...

God understands every language in this world, that also includes simple English and the more complex English, old English and Modern English. I am just saying the Word of God has been translated, so it can reach the 4 corners of the earth. Translators have used their talents to spread the word...

@Windmillcharge @mjrhealth Yep, it's not a must, to go to services every Sunday, but being surrounded by the right people even if it's just 2 or 3 is important, good Christian influences are important. It is not good for a Christian to be surrounded by negative influences all the time...

@Joseph77 This thread is over 10 years old, I don't think any of these members are active on these forums anymore. But if we are talking about Bible translations, the translators have done a good thing translating it from the Hebrew and Greek to other languages, throughout history this has...
