How does the Body of Christ Mature?

Hi devin, Yes, the two aspects - attitude and truth. We need both. 1. Good attitude but no truth - thus in darkness. 2. Some truth but bad attitude - still in darkness. `Speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the Head - Christ...` (Eph. 4: 15)
  2. Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. Religious Babylon.

Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. Religious Babylon.

Religious Babylon. The first aspect of Babylon that we are shown is the Religious system. The false prophet brings together all the religions of the world and this is revealed to us in symbolic form as a great prostitute – a great profanity of blasphemy and a violation of sacred things...

Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The City of Babylon.

THE CITY OF BABYLON The city of Babylon is being rebuilt and it is destined to become the centre of the last Gentile Global Government. The Anti-Christ will rule from Babylon with the 10 Islamic kings, over the whole world. The Political, Economic and Religious aspects of...

How does the Body of Christ Mature?

Hi marks, Very good question. I`ll post the Truths again so we can discuss them. The Truths of Christ. Salvation through Christ`s finished work on the cross. (not by works) Holy living by the Holy Spirit. (not by man`s effort) Identifying with Christ`s death through water baptism. (not infant...

How does the Body of Christ Mature?

Hi marks, Much there to think upon. Very good, thank you. Just a couple of comments. The unity of the Spirit - as you say `keep` with our attitude. The unity of the Faith - this is in relation to the truths of Christ that we know and stand for. Over the centuries the Holy Spirit has been...

Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The 7 Bowls of God`s Wrath. (detail 3)

These events unfold one upon the other. Thus while the nations are gathering their armies to Armageddon,.... `And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.`...

Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The 7 Bowls of God`s Wrath. (detail 2)

4.Men are Scorched. Those who have taken the mark of the beast now have terrible sores on their bodies. The sea & waters, (rivers, streams etc) have become bloodied through fish & people dying. The waters would be foul & polluted and with the great heat following, the pain people would be...
  8. Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The 7 Bowls of God`s Wrath. (detail)

Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The 7 Bowls of God`s Wrath. (detail)

`Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the 7 angels, “Go & pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.” (Rev. 16: 1) 1. The...
  9. Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The 7 Bowls of God`s Wrath.

Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The 7 Bowls of God`s Wrath.

The 7 Bowls of God`s Wrath. The song of Moses says that `He will avenge the blood of His servants....` (Deut. 32: 43) And His judgment is `just & true.` (Rev. 15: 3) Thus we see that from the `Holy of Holies,` in the heavenly sanctuary comes forth the last judgments...

How does the Body of Christ Mature?

Hi Randy, I agree as per trying for all organisations to have the same theology. That is not what God`s word is meaning. Instead, the Lord is bringing His true believers to stand for those truths I posted. Then in the Lord`s timing He will come for His Body of believers and take us to His own...

How does the Body of Christ Mature?

`...when He the Spirit of Truth has come, He will guide you into ALL TRUTH.` (John 16: 13) `...till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God..` (Eph. 4: 13) The Truths of Christ. Salvation through Christ`s finished work on the cross. (not by works) Holy...

How does the Body of Christ Mature?

Hi Mark, So, appreciate your encouraging `ticks.` Now, while we `keep the unity of the Spirit,` with our Christ-like attitude developed by the Holy Spirit, there is ALSO the very important aspect (that I`m trying to bring out here), of the `unity of the faith, ` (Eph. 4: 13). This is NOT...

    The Bride, Symbol.

    2. The New Jerusalem. `And I saw the new heavens and new earth, for the first heaven and first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city coming down out of heaven from God, prepared AS A bride adorned for her husband.` (Rev. 21: 1 & 2) Here we read of...

    The Bride, Symbol.

The Bride Purpose. In other words, God`s purpose for `the Bride.` Now God uses the symbol of the bride for two purposes - one for Israel and the other for the New Jerusalem. 1. Israel. The relationship here is as a husband, (master) and wife. `For your Maker is your husband.` (Isa. 54: 5) `I...
  16. Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The Judgments.

Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The Judgments.

The Judgments. We are now shown the details of this judgment that was proclaimed. (Ch. 14: 7) This will be the final judgments in the tribulation upon rebellious mankind. These 7 plagues will complete God`s wrath. They are described as `great and marvellous,` meaning that...
  17. Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The Harvest.

Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The Harvest.

The Harvest. An angel is now shown coming out of the temple in heaven with another sickle. This picture shows that the judgment is from the Father. Another angel is then shown coming out from the altar, which indicates Christ`s great sacrifice (altar) and the execution of the judgments (fire)...

How does the Body of Christ Mature?

Hi Randy, I think we can agree that the denominations tend to try and contain the truth that the Holy Spirit has clarified. However, we have the Lord`s own purpose that His Body will be led into ALL TRUTH. `.....when He the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth....`...
  19. Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The Judge.

Revelation. Vision 4. Christ the Judge. The Judge.

The Judge. God the Father and the Holy Spirit declare the blessing upon those who do not follow the `beast.` Though they die, because they trust in God they will have eternal life. `Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep...
