Just what Ellen White said. See above. We need more people like her, who encouraged everyone to come to Christ.

“Everyone that is of the truth,” Christ declared, “heareth My voice.” John 18:37. Having stood in the counsels of God, having dwelt in the everlasting heights of the sanctuary, all elements of truth were in Him and of Him. He was one with God. It means more than finite minds can comprehend to...

The proud heart strives to earn salvation; but both our title to heaven and our fitness for it are found in the righteousness of Christ. The Lord can do nothing toward the recovery of man until, convinced of his own weakness, and stripped of all self-sufficiency, he yields himself to the control...

“What is justification by faith? It is the work of God in laying the glory of man in the dust, and doing for man that which it is not in his power to do for himself. When men see their own nothingness, they are prepared to be clothed with the righteousness of Christ.”—The Faith I Live By, p. 109.

For those who don't mind a little work and a small investment, it's possible to create your own healthy back yard veggie garden. There are some very good you tube presentations on how to go about it And in these last days, it's a very good idea to be able to provide for yourself if possible...

From the words of a good old protestant hymn... My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand: all other ground is sinking sand.

Perhaps that's the result, but with less violence.

Some likely believe this to be judgemental... KJV Revelation 3:14-22 14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would...

Except they have been interpreted in a startling way by many, as you so eloquently pointed out. But the most startling interpretation comes from Rome itself, being a corruption of the principle gospel message itself, turning a message of faith and grace into something one must earn and work...

Nominally so yes. But I would hesitate to declare categorically that the millions of inhabitants of South America whose current mixture of occult and Christian superstitions which they inherited from forbears forced to convert at the end of a sword, could be called Christian.

They were a part of it yes, but there were Christians before them who had no connection to Rome whatever. Do you know of the "silent cities" of Syria, their antiquity and character? Do you know why they were abandoned, and for 13 centuries have lain empty? Do you know where that vast population...

They were persecuted in the wilderness. Therefore they could be found. But for the most part they had peace and quiet, and it was there that God fed them. KJV Revelation 12:6 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a...

And still you cannot declare openly your faith in the blood of Christ that is an atonement for sin. I could find quotes from your Jesuit masters that declare that Jesus death was not a propitiation, but merely an example. KJV Revelation 5:9 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to...

Exactly. And you follow and obey the Roman idea of transferring the solemnity of the 7th day of the week to the first. And you use the Protestant presumption of having authority to make every day equal in order to justify making Sunday above them. Totally and completely inconsistent and...

I know the Bible says the Sabbath is holy, because God declared it so at creation. But who gave the JWs the authority to make every day holy?

I wonder how you, and most others on this thread, can challenge a people for refusing to honor a day not sanctioned in scripture, yet turn a blind eye to your own stubbornness in denying the 4th commandment and upholding Sunday as sacred. The same goes for the JWs, who strain at gnats by...

KJV Matthew 15:3, 9 3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? (That which you are following, handed down and 'developed'... Noted, scripture not considered) 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments...

The entire political landscape in the US is swiveling to the right. It was so far left, and still is to some degree, that a swing to the right, a reactionary response, was inevitable. It won't matter from which party the next president emerges from, he may even be independent. But he will be...

Miserable. I know what that's like. Can't hang clothes on the line in Australia in the summer. They dry and go hard in 5 minutes. Can't hang them in winter. It rains here too. :)

I said, quote...rather than investigate for yourself the numerous histories that recount the incredibly wonderful efforts of God's people in bringing the gospel to heathen nations. To which you responded What a strange response. Is this your method of denying the work of missionaries that...
