One could put it this way... Death is the inevitable result for one who isn't given eternal life. It is a knowledge of Jesus that saves us from death (John 17:3), that is, eternal destruction (not eternal destroying, nor eternal dying, but a final absolute state of existence). Nowhere in...

There is no connect between the Sabbath and your eucharist. And rather than deal at length with your misplaced Catholic theology, I shall refer you to just 2 verses which ought to speak to you regarding truth, if you have ears to hear. KJV John 6:63, 68 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the...

That is grossly misleading, and a denial of the power of the gospel, (2 Tim. 3:1-5) assuming those who were converted to Christ in those earlier years never repented and never forsook their past lives. Only a hundred years after the death of the apostle John, the Assyrian Christians had planted...

Yes, so you keep claiming, but without a shred of evidence in support of your claim that the weekly Sabbath was being referenced in those verses. As I explained above, (did you read it?) the weekly Sabbath was never instituted as a shadow, as it was blessed and sanctified before sin. There...

You unwittingly described the Catholic Church. Fascinating insights, and I wonder if Paxton saw a parallel there?

If the miracle of individual conversions wasn't enough, God also worked a miracle in having the government offer not only amnesty, but the tools to live a productive life. I am reminded of mi the grace and mercy of God in the OT story of 2 Kings 6:13-23. How we underestimate God's power and...

The Philippines was mired in conflict with rebels on Mindoro Island for 52 years. Land and money were offered to the rebels in exchange for peace, but nothing seemed to work. A seemingly endless cycle of ambushes and counterattacks left 40,000 people dead. In 2017, Adventist World Radio (AWR)...

Okay, I did expect that reply. Despite several scriptures stating clearly that those in Christ who had died are asleep in the dust of the earth, your by no means unpopular opinion is that they are contrariwise for the last 2000 years, more or less, have been enjoying the bliss and happiness of...

@Bible Highlighter KJV Matthew 13:41 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; KJV Matthew 13:49 49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from...

Everywhere else in scripture we are told that Jesus returns in the company of millions of angels. He comes in His own glory, and glory of the Father, and the glory of the angels. The suggestion that those following Him are redeemed saints denies the resurrection and the catching up, and is but...

Good on you, and I agree with you... The hysteria surrounding climate change is not pantheism. But Pope Francis' response to it as expressed in his encyclical Laudato Si, could be considered pantheism. Quote...VI. SACRAMENTAL SIGNS AND THE CELEBRATION OF REST 233. The universe unfolds in God...

The so called catching up event cannot be separated from the resurrection which takes place at the same time: the time of Jesus' second coming. KJV Daniel 12:1-3 1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time...

Pantheism. God in nature, rather than the God of nature. Environmentalism? No. Climate change...a fraudulent theory being used as a vehicle for squirreling Catholic doctrine into government legislation... Sunday laws... Which our prophet, the one you despise and reject, spoke of clearly 140...

As I said to BoL, I'm not interested in nit picking over wedding ceremonies, rings, and traditions that the Bible does not specifically condemn. But as I also pointed out, there are some pagan... Read occult, superstition, gentile, spiritualism, idolatry, whatever... Practices bring promoted...

Of course it is, and I did answer. I said I believe in scripture. I'm confused why you would think I would remove 1 Thess. from scripture?

I believe in scripture. Not in make believe. Scripture informs us of the resurrection, at which time those remaining alive are changed, "in the blink of an eye". All the scriptures that deal with the second coming speak of that one singular event... The resurrection and the deliverance of God's...

The real event wherein I desire to be left behind, and by no means be taken first is here... KJV Matthew 13:30 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather...

That's a different event than the imaginary one the OP is referring to. The one you have reference to above is real. But even that I would prefer to be left behind, as I will explain below...

Lol. You are still treating me like an idiot. You must think me a raving legalist if you believe I'm concerned over Christmas trees, wedding rings, and calendars. You completely ignore what did concern me, I spelt it out very clearly, with attached quotes and references. Pantheism is alive and...
