True words. They want to believe it because it is comfortable to believe it. God did not create and train an army , ( or give us the armour in Eph 6) ..then change His mind and zap His glorious church out! He will still be the Head and we the Body...in the Great Day Of His glory. Nor...

I try my best to not fall for or follow the doctrines of man . The escape rapture being one of them.

So sorry for your great loss. I’m time, and it takes time...you will be able to dwell on all the good happy memories. xx God bless you richly.

Good opening post. Nice to see some new subjects....the others are getting stale :) What does God expect from us? He expects us the be always listening for His Voice. Many times The bible says- “to him who has an ear to hear, hear....”. He expects us to be watching and harkening ‘in the...

My dad was 90 , the night he died we took him to his room (more like my hubby and I half dragged him , his legs gave out) I settled him down , he was on oxygen and in heart failure. An hour later , when I came up the hall to check on him...I heard him gasping out Psalm 86 , his big old bible...

Hello there . I must say that I agree with @amadeus . Nothing can satisfy “others” with the testimony of why ‘we’ each believe. @Marymog will not be satisfied with whatever answer he gives. She likes to ask questions , but in all the time that she has been on this Site, I have never once...

I thought it was very interesting. Thanks... I wouldn't mind more..though I am sure "some" will shoot it down, as usual!

Some years ago I saw a documentary with a group of “specialists. They ended up , after all their studies saying they believe it was done by Michael Angelo !! They said that he’d fallen out with the Pope because he didn’t pay him what was promised , so he “painted” the shroud to make a fool of...
