Amen to that. The sad thing is..as the 'old guard' die off, I am not seeing the same anointing on those stepping into their shoes. So many of these 'oldies' , proved and seasoned ones..'gave themselves to much prayer...it reflected in their very presence, and also upon them as they spoke...

Goodness!!! Jesus Christ , while here , was Spirit , soul and body... How could His Spirit take up the cross without His soul and body? He was “made flesh and dwelt among us” ... not in three separate parts ...the body without the Spirit is dead. I don’t understand why this is such a...

Back again. I was glad I posted that one line..because it then showed up in my Alert :) I liked the look of the OP but didn't have time to fully read it. Now I have read it , and was right , it is an excellent word. :) Thank you.

No argument there...He has not picked some for salvation and some for damnation. So we agree. But I also say..If my electric bill was PAID IN FULL..it is no longer my debt..it was paid... I may not acknowledge it or say Thank You...I may not even know it's been paid.....but nevertheless it is...

NO!! Winter has finally come with a vengeance. Going down to 30 below C tonight..with windchill's..that's cold.. Roads pretty icy...going to be -26 C tomorrow.. :(

This time you are better than us..we are -25C snow, , dull and miserable. I have the heat cranked up to 22 , we usually hold it at 21. So, no fun ( sun, or melting ) going on here.

...I'm going off now...hope to be back here soon...

Yay! Good to see you again...we have missed you very much. :) You were never forgotten. x

o_O That doesn't make sense... =quote;- "the finished work of Christ was for all humanity".....yes, and PERIOD. But only those who come to Him in response to His call know that they are saved...the rest blindly go their own way, not comprehending what went on at the cross.

@Willie T @Hidden In Him Very clever posts...well done!! @Dave L 's is good too. :D I badly needed those laughs, our car was stolen from right under my husbands nose ..he was 6 ft away, brushing the snow...the guy jumped in and roared off!!! Dave hit the windshield with his broom , but...

Im okay on 4 but not on Limited Atonement... Jesus didn't do half a job. The first Adam dropped us all in, the Last Adam pulled us all out.

Well I read both John's and your post's and never noticed the "e"..so that just shows how unobservant I am. I guess I just knew what it was talking about and gave my "like". And who on earth can wake up in the morning and straight way be that sharp!! ( @Hidden In Him :D) I am bleary at...

Yesterday was horrible and so stressful...John ( @amadeus ) knows that. He had his car stolen a while ago, it is most upsetting. Yesterday because it is so cold, a car must be warmed up before driving , or the oil is too thick. Dave had the car running in the garage, and he was sweeping the...

Amen, Amen, Amen!!! Praise God. Her time has not yet come. May God strengthen her and keep her safe.

Sorry to hear that you have a cold...one thing on top of another...that seemed to be how it goes these days. We only have a sprinkling of snow....thankfully.

Oh come on Mary. What’s so hard... Nancy, myself, Amadeus, and Willie ALL BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD...BECAUSE GOD SAID SO, JOHN THE BAPTIST SAID SO... JESUS CONFIRMED IT. You may not believe it...but we do!!!!

Emotions and feelings so often lie to us ...it seems to be taking all my life to learn how to bring my thoughts into the captivity of Christ. Where health is concerned, I so often have to grab the fact of pain, (or anything else that is trying to derail) and declare the truth Of God in the...

Atheist or Agnostic ... Not quite the same...but neither are Christian believers.....because a believer one who has a believing relationship. Atheist = a person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God Agnostic = a person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the...

I don't! It is God Himself who is the convincer, not me. Oh, I have just seen post #4 by @Episkopos ...totally agree.. but, I wrote the above before I read him!! :)
