Special prayer for Namrata and unborn child!

Who is the adversary of God today? Is it not man himself? Not so much the dead zombies walking around who know little and care nothing about God. Let the dead bury the dead. But.. among believers some of them really struggling against themselves to overcome their own besetting sins, the new...

Yes! What were Adam and Eve allowed to do that they should not have done?

Yes! God knows! God, I believe, spoke His Word for us before there were any men at all... or before there was an Adam and Eve. Contained the written scriptures, we can see blessings and cursings. We, human beings, make choices which either for or against God. It is our choice, but God knows...

Yes, he is allowed to do that work.

No! But what about men? Every man, I believe, works either for God or with God. The latter ones working with God are the ones working in His will at the moment. They are working toward bringing it altogether as it ultimately will be with the Body of Christ in place with Jesus as the Head of it...

Just so...!

Somewhat related to your specific question might be just exactly who Satan is and who he is not? But almost certainly, whoever he is, he does work the work of the left hand of God, rather than the right.

Below is something I posted on this forum last June: "And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel's left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel's right hand, and brought them near unto him. And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim's...

Look into the left hand of God versus the right hand!

Jesus, the man of flesh, did not want to suffer pain. None of us, people of flesh, normally, do. Is that equal to fear? His flesh was tempted to travel another way without the pain. He prayed and the will of the Father prevailed, and Jesus went forward to the cross. I believe, there with that...

I do not! I agree. Again, I agree! Perhaps there are even more than three or less depending on who is drawing the lines. In my head there are certainly lines drawn, but I strive not to do that... leaving it in the hands of God. I may have gotten it wrong and be getting it wrong, but God...

@ScottA On another issue, I have long thought about some of your thoughts on time and related issues. I have resolved to buy of few books of interest to me when my income tax refund arrives this month. Your book, "Walking Like Einstein:the greatest spiritual find of our time", will be one of...

And which side is it do you suppose it is that I am on...? I want to be on the Lord's side wherever that really is. I want to be directed to wherever it is that He would lead me. If I have taken a turn or missed a turn which hindered my progress toward Him, I do sincerely ask God to correct me...

Thanks for the apology, but there was really no need. We are both heading toward the goal...toward the Light, toward the end of our course. The last days? For whom? I am 78 years old. Do you not suppose that I have passed the half-way or even the ¾ mark of the time of my personal course? Seems...

You apparently did not read the following in that article: "The captain then steered the St Louis towards the Florida coast, but the US authorities also refused it the right to dock, despite direct appeals to President Franklin Roosevelt."

@Rene Asologuitar Welcome to the forum!

@BarnyFife He is always there and waiting for us... "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."...

@Frank E. Schreiber Welcome to the forum!

I think not. I have reading the Bible in three languages since 1978 and have yet to see the Trinity in it. I see the verses that Trinitarians have pointed out to me, but I do not see what they say that they see. How do I know? Am I not one of His sheep, who know His voice and follow Him...
