Thoughting again!....oh no, is that allowed?

Our study has revealed a couple of important facts about Michael the Archangel that I’d like to close by summarizing. First, all five appearances of Michael in the bible reveals that he is much more than an angel. In Jude 1:9 there is a dispute that takes place between Michael and Satan over...

FIVE OBJECTIONS CONSIDERED Now that we have identified who Michael is, I will proceed with responding to certain objections raised by critics. Objection #1: Two different Hebrew words are used: I once encountered the semantic argument that the Hebrew word used in Daniel 10:13 is different from...

WHAT DOES THE NAME MEAN? The meaning of the name “Michael” may present more evidence as to his identify. I present it here for your consideration. The name Michael in Hebrew is מִיכָאֵל. Broken apart, we have מִי (pronounced miy) meaning “who,” followed by the conjunction כִּי, and then אֵל...

Can you say "STRAW MAN?" Michael is not an angel, so no one here is claiming that an angel is God. And no, I will not now a knee to Him. I will be caught up with the rest of the redeemed to meet Him in the air. That's what the Bible literally says. The bowing comes later. Even the...

Unless the archangel is not an angel at all. Not every spirit is good. Angels are called ministering spirits in the Bible and God is a Spirit. But angels are not gods. There are spirits of devils working miracles. They are not the Holy Spirit. Because the doctrine of Christ (the Sovereign of the...

Fortunately, your word is not the last. The Bible has to be interpreted according to something understandable to the reader. If the Holy Spirit was guiding all of us we'd be agreeing a lot more. No one's telling you what to believe. And it's not likely that believing Jesus is Michael is...

Folks do generally take great comfort in categorizing. It's the next best thing to disposal. :)

This halting at the altar of burnt offering is interesting given that Christ is called "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world," and not "at the end of the world," eh? You're a little late to the game, RDB. NICE straw man You are involved in eisegesis 101 here.

THE ANGEL OF THE LORD Throughout the Old Testament we constantly find the appearance of an “angel of the Lord/captain of the hosts” who manifestly turns out to be God. Here are those verses: Example #1: “And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the...

This is blatantly false. This is true in the sense that Christ is self-originating. Us and them... Yada, yada Identifying Michael as the tangible manifestation of Jesus is similar to what is known as a Christophany. The name “Michael” appears only 15 times in the Bible. Since ten of them are...

If you can't see the paradox (seemingly conflicting, yet congruent) of child-like trusting and: Proverbs 2 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; I can't help that, eh?

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with...

Do you honestly think this never occurred to me? People love to dispense unsolicited mentoring. Do you choose your own mentors? I generally do. It seems just a bit presumptuous to pretend one knows someone else's level of Christian maturity without even being acquainted with them. I think this...

I do not believe that a correct understanding of this matter is necessarily essential to salvation. However, it could be said that a gross misunderstanding or perversion of it could become problematic for the believer.
