    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

Yeah, the ability to skillfully mince words and perpetuate contention is so impressive.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

The suffix -ist does not mean "follower of." Look it up. If you believe in the basic teachings of John Calvin on predestination, you might want to get used to being referred to as a "Calvinist" or, at least, a "proponent of Calvinism." Otherwise (unless you keep your sentiments on predestination...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

@justbyfaith 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 does not substantiate a "halfway point" or "middle ground" between being in a lost condition and being born again.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

So you're adding more speculative theory to an already unbiblical teaching? Where is the biblical doctrine of the "short period of time" found in the Bible? Is it anything like the "short period of time" that Noah preached to the antediluvians? A person may not be able to tell the exact time or...

    Calvinism vs. Arminianism

If you call this substantial evidence for a "middle ground," there might be a problem here.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

If you believe in predestination with no free will, you may be a follower of Christ, but you are also a Calvinist.

And he will do so very politely, at times, until you go bananas. Been there; done that.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (Titus 2:11) Read very closely. The object of the prepositional phrase "that bringeth salvation" is "the grace of God." What the grace of God does is "appear to all men." All men are not saved. it's pretty simple really...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

I think you're conflating God's grace with salvation.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

What actually happened was that Pharoah committed the unpardonable sin. God's Spirit will not always strive with man. :(

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

God may grant a person time to make a decision, but that is not some state of limbo. :) To be almost saved is to be totally lost. It's not even worth debating. It's just vain philosophy. Not that I consider you a vain person by any accounting, but we've all had goofy ideas. :p

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

How does that constitute a halfway point? Did you study this out or was it taught to you? And don't tell me I have a bias against the truth. :D

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

A person who is at the "halfway point" is covered by the same grace of God that both or either the saved and the unsaved receive. I don't see the point in classifying conviction as a third option. It's not Biblical, anyway.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Oh, context, schmontext. :D A person is either converted or unregenerate.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. (Matthew 12:30) What meaneth this?

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Sounds good, but I don't think staunch Calvinists see a problem with that conclusion. :)

    MIA Members to Pray for

Please define what you mean by the term: "Not allowing them to play." Who said anything about banning people? I don't even have the authority to do that.
