To me the gospel means God wants us to be reconciled with him. That he wants to live with us and take care of us and he wants us to take care of each other. I think a lot of people hear a lot about, If you don't believe in God you will go to hell, or die in your sins. And that's as far as it...

Seriously we should just ignore them and just do the works of the gospel without them. Jesus didn't need the support of the Pharisees and Saducees or even the temple they built for themselves.. Whitehouse.. He just did the right thing whenever the situation arose. And they hated him for it, and...

When Jesus was preaching he went to the lost sheep of Israel. They believed in God overall but they weren't following his directions. Jesus sent Paul to the gentiles around Jerusalem to bring the good news even to regions that held their own beliefs about who and what God is.Even the Goddess...

I don't believe that is a "small" nuance. That is at the center of a lot of disagreements. Specially legalism. I understand these next verses. But I'm getting caught up in the "authority" . 1Pe 2:13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king...

Then there is Latitia James in NY. And another in DC. I hear this argument concerning why Biden shouldn't be impeached. There is no evidence they say. And I'm watching these Trump trials, and the hypocrisy is unreal. I don't care who wins or loses. God is the one who will rule and win the day...

Made me think of Abraham, when you said need to leave the church once we grow and realize they are leading souls astray. God called Abram out from his fathers house in the land of UR. When you do some background you find that they were moon worshippers. Ur = "flame" city in southern...

LOL, The only church I ever attended regularly for maybe a year was a Southern Baptist Church. And the message was HELL and DAMNATION!!! every week, lol. Funny I got water baptised through that preacher Pastor Corbin. But that man scared the HELL out of me! LOL Hugs

I haven't gotten into the datails about the five armies that came to war against Sodom and Gomorah. I believe it's the war where they took Lot which was Abraham's brother. So Abraham got all his people, his army together and went into battle and had the victory. That's when Melchizadek met...

I was just about to post that. Thank you for sharing Hugs

Well, the world is in a really bad place today, so I suppose however God can get his message across to the deaf and blind he'll use it. Even if it's an ass. hugs

Yesterday was Saturday. I got up early in the morning, got dressed, fed my cats, changed the litter. Warmed up the car, travelled an hour to visit my dad at rehab. On the way I stopped at the truckstop and picked him up a cheese omelet, 2 slices of banana bread, orange juice, and a milk. Because...

There was no day called Sabbath before Moses. Moses gave the day a name. No different than Adam naming his help meet Woman. And named all the animals. Man didn't have God's day to rest in until he gave it to Israel, even though it had been created from the beginning. And when God gave it, then...

Problem is the selections are being made for us. Here, you can choose this one or that one. And neither is perfect. We will always find flaws. Politics for me has taken a back seat lately. About the only thing I been following is the Fani and Wade trial in Georgia. And even that I am falling...

I hear this, but I also hear the lifting up and being made whole. Not by anything which we have done, but by his mercy we are healed. Lev 26:13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke...

I don't know why people believe that it is the presidents job or anyone else's job to lead a nation one way or the other. It's the people themselves that have to answer for themselves that will make things better or worse. If you want to see a change.. look in the mirror and change. Be the...

I found this interesting. I don't know if believers actually don't start out without questions. My family wasn't religious in the least. I didn't grow up in a spirit faith based community. I went to Sunday school when I was a kid but I couldn't tell you what they taught. I don't think I...

This is why he needs God. God works through you giving support to your friend. And through God your friend will be able to support others. Right now, you are his crutch. What he doesn't see is it is God working through you to reach out to him. Sometimes you can't tell them, you have to show...

God is calling. :D Hugs

It's also about creating a people in which he can reside in. Sometimes I think we forget that that path goes both ways. We can try to attain to dwell with God, but are we willing to be attained by God to dwell with us and in us? You are the host of the banquet that God wishes to sit at and eat...

Thank you for reading my post. :D The reason why we have the bible is to look to Christ as our standard and not to look to ourselves to measure up to our own self-righteousness. God is holy and we are told to be holy as he is holy. But Episkopos, there is only one way to be holy, and that is to...
