There were such leaders. Certainly. But the Catholic Church chose leaders who were not in subjection to Christ, and began to murder those who were.

I don't need to prove or disprove anything. I am simply encouraging others to obey the truth as they find it in scripture. Summer won't of course because they have no desire or love for truth. They prefer other teachers. Commentators. Scripture for them is too straight. Too pointed. Too...

Jesus started a lot of churches in different places and different times. What particular one are you suggesting I think went away? As for the truth that Jesus taught, no, that never went away, we've always had scripture. There was a long time however where the Catholic Church decided to not...

Then why bring it up?????

I think there's a fairly good reason for form being included... Created I'm the image of God, and Christ bring the express image. I see no reason to assume shape or form would differ that much. Good does have a shape... Jesus said He knows it having been with the Father.

The mind of Christ.

Can I dispense with one common myth? That myth said that Israel in THE OT were saved by their obedience to the law, whereas Christians are saved by grace. This i think is a principle undergirding dispensationalism. Now I call it a myth, based on my understanding that in the IT God's name is...

There appears to be some confusion as to what actually constitutes salvation, how it is procured, and how, even whether, it needs to be retained. There are threads all over the place discussing various aspects of the gospel from go to woe (perhaps an unfortunate pun) but what prompted this...

You don't think I'll be honest with you about protestant history and their many failings? I promise, I will be as honest about protestant failure as I am about Catholic failure. But I will also be honest about both sides in the good that they do, in the loving hope that God has for us all, the...

Actually no, the only thing you've debunked is your own strawman. When I have time tomorrow I'll straighten you out.

Tomorrow. :)

That would be reasonably fair synopsis, but I would like to address a number of the details at a more convenient time zone. :). Unless someone else has that more convenient time zone they are welcome to jump in ;)

If you understand what Catholics mean by 'immaculate conception', and what John and Paul means when they say, 'in the likeness of sinful flesh' you'll understand that the official Catholic teaching cannot embrace Jesus as fully human.

Historicist.

Including Muslims, Hindus, and a few other sects for their messiah. That should be a clue.

No. I don't have time tonight but will come back to it tomorrow. Short version... Satan impersonates Christ and His second coming... The Antichrist while being a counterfeit Christ is in a different time frame and is an institution, not an individual be it man, beast, or angel. Now that's thrown...

Totally.

KJV 2 Thessalonians 2:10-11 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: The above refers to those who...

Your claim that Jesus is a created angel reveals your denial of the Father and Son. Monogenes, which is a reference to the pre-incarnate Christ, does not, cannot, refer to a created being. You rubbish the KJV because of what you term archaic English, and pretend to understand koine Greek, older...

Yes. Even the "rest in Christ' do many boast of is nothing more than presumption. How can anyone boast of resting in Christ while at the same time spending every minute of their spare time being entertained by the world? And the commandment speaks also of laboring 6 days. How do they accomplish...
