Amen!

Praying for you now, my friend!

People are a selfish lot... including so many it seems who are quick to name themselves Christians as they assure themselves that they are finally saved and simply need to wait for the rewards they believe God promised to them. Is that like our Jesus? Is that even on the approach to being like...

You should move beyond the cliches taught by so many men... "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And...

@MatthewG "The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he." John 4:25-26

You are the one that claimed it was a fact rather than a belief. The revelation that any of us have from God is taught to us by the Holy Ghost within us. Scripture read or spoken without the quickening Spirit is dead. The Book, the Bible may contain the flesh of Jesus but without the Blood of...

I would suggest that it is only definitive when it has been quickened by the Spirit of God within... "Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of...

So then you along with @Enoch111 have had a revelation from God. Me... I simply return to that lowest room each day and allow God to elevate or exalt me if and when He will... "But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto...

I am not God, my friend. I do still live by faith which I believe is: "...the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." The One that will point our errors when allowed to do so is the Holy Spirit. If you have definite knowledge from God of these things rather than only...

Also praying here!

While you may disagree with the answer, he certainly did answer you even though he is not the one who wrote the OP. Wait on @Episkopos . Probably he will also give you his answer. The following verses describes, I believe, the total purpose of those two ministers as well as others given to...

Misleading? If the Trinity is true and God wants us to believe in it, what is wrong with what I suggested here: Would the Holy Spirit lead us astray if and when we come to God with open empty hands, mind and heart... and simply saying, "Lead me Lord?" How does a person grow in God if he...

According to God, first things always first and then what? "All these things shall be added". Our marriages, our children, our comforts! Are these all then guaranteed? No, although some people claim guarantees that I do not see. God, however, loves us and if we are obedient in seeking the...

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matt 6:33

What does a person need to know? What if we simply do what Jesus said here? "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy...

It probably has a lot to with history and tradition and really little to do with loving God. Some sincere people simply do not know anything else. That, [the trinity], is what they have been taught and to even seriously question it would be a costly thing to their own ways... that is the ways of...

Peace, my friend! As Jesus put it, "much is given... much is required". People with above average intelligence are rich in that way and may find it difficult to set aside their ability to figure things out and to choose rather to simply surrender to God. What does that mean? God knows! What...

I guess you have not been paying attention, my friend. I have not embraced the Trinity for probably more than 40 years. We do live for God by faith, do we not?

No, no failsafe advantages here! As men look at it, it may seem that we have an advantage because we have been given so much more. But... with the more given, more is required. God is always fair in a way that many men cannot understand. This is what the scriptures mean when they say He is no...

Consider the following response I made on this forum a couple of years ago: I believe that God has always made a way for a person whose heart is right to correct what needed to be corrected before all would be lost: "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is...
